I had twitch muted for 40 minutes before I read about it not giving the drop, so I unmuted it and it still gave me the drop an hour after I had started, 40 minis muted 20 minutes not muted.
Not trying to tell people to risk it, but it didn’t seem to matter from what I saw.
As much as I have no interest in twitch and saw this whole process as an annoyance, it was kind of interesting to do something different. I obviously like that IO is still supporting the game, but them doing new things like having another celebrity ET that comes with a suit unlock for playing it and another unlock for participating on twitch is actually pretty cool.
I’ve been really impressed with how year 3 has been going. Hopefully the amount of fan interaction they are still getting this long after H3 dropped will see them continue to put a little bit of love into supporting the games, like they’ve been doing.

I literally let a stream run muted on my computer while I took a nap, and when i woke up and hour later I had gotten the drop. You don’t actually have to watch or engage with the stream. Just let it run.
It may be a lighting thing also the blue streak suit has slightly darker blue shoes than the rest of the blue idk about the sunset green and black though
Those purple shoes have got to be among the worst fashion crimes I’ve ever witnessed, and that’s coming from someone whose favorite color happens to be purple :x
Has anyone done the Twitch Drop with an IO account that has more than one platform linked to it? ie a Xbox account and a Steam account both for H3/WoA etc? If yes, what happened?
Did the suit go to both/all platforms or did it go to one and not the other(s)? Am wondering if I should temporarily unlink my Steam account so I can ensure it goes through to my “main” account where I’ve got everything unlocked/completed or if I don’t need to bother.
I have both Steam and Epic, and I have the Purple Streak on both. I didn’t do anything special, just claim it normally and it should show up everywhere your account is linked :)

The Drop will be up for the whole month, and I wouldn’t be surprise if this explained the change of plans for the ET releases.
The Fugitive was planned in October on the year roadmap, but was replaced. I would guess because Hokkaido already appeared with the Surgeons, and fairness to the new players dictates that all location suits should appear at least once. Confronted to less ET releases. Bangkok prevailed.
Maybe no other ET this month?
