Hitman Mission Championship - Heat TDY

Well, finally played Illusions of Grandeur for the first time. I mean, wow. I got all the challenges bar one in under an hour. I mean, if this was an ET, fine, but for something that was paid content, it really does feel like this was made in a weekend or something. I have no idea why they bothered with these SAs really, I guess they felt the season pass needed some padding?

I guess it isn’t bad by any means, I mean using the Mumbai Chawl is the logical choice for a mission like this. The interaction with the magician is fun, but otherwise, what else is there to say? Probably my quickest sniper assassin time of 1:27 though, and hey, it got me to level 8 mastery of Mumbai in Hitman 3 which is nice. But yeah, I’m definetly voting off all the SAs in this round.

So I’m the only one who liked The Ass End of Nowhere (Sgail)? It’s 22 and both of the points were by me, one by @getro_gamer which was neutralized.

I can already hear the Berlin fans readying their eggs for the throws…

Berlin is overrated. I rarely want to go down to the club area and stay near the biker hideout because there are like 3 rooms in the actual club where you can actually do shit.

My man :+1: Thought I was the only one with that opinion. (To clarify, I think it’s overrated as a mission. Strictly map design-wise it deserves as much credit as the other greats.)

Just because it didn’t get points from other people it doesn’t mean others don’t like the map. This round is about eliminating the weak missions and about trying to keep the missions which are in danger to be eliminated. For example, even though it isn’t one of my favourite maps,I really like Sgail, but I don’t see any reason to give it points when no one has even substracted any points from it yet.I’d rather use my points in a more useful way to make them actually matter.

I am not a fan of Zoe’s route and the map’s verticality can feel a bit limiting at times, but it’s still a great map.

I am a big fan of Berlin(it’s probably my favourite in the triology) and I don’t understand why you would say there are only 3 rooms in the actual club you use.Maybe I can help you understand the map a bit better if you want. :slightly_smiling_face:

I didn’t say berlin is a bad map by any means, I just feel like it’s too simple and a good part of the map seems useless to the actual mission, and the lack of verticality is disappointing. Again, I think it’s a good map, but it’s not the best.

Are you sure?Every club area serves a purpose for at least one agent.Just looking at Montgomery who was a very complex route and moves around almost the whole building proves that. Then we have Green on the roof,Davenport who moves around the club entrance,Banner in the staff area and Chamberlin around the dance floor.

Really?!:astonished:
That means you explored the map superficially because that’s one of Berlin’s strongest elements…Sure, the obvious way to move around the different floors of the club is by using the staircases, but there are also a lot of hidden great verticality elements on this map that you missed…
I could tell you about them, but it is more fun when you discover them yourself. Some of them can be found in pretty surprising places.

The way I see berlin is 4 boxes stacked on top of each other. Yeah sure there are 2 staircases that lead from the club to the biker hideout, but like I said, it’s very simplistic in nature. The first floor of the biker hideout is an exception though. But for the rest of the map, if feels like I’m moving around a rectangle with the occasional props in the way. And yes I explored the map, I completed pretty much every challenge there.

Exactly that. I like Sgail quite a bit but I also know it’s not a widely disliked map so voting for it before it dips below 20 (the general safe point) is a bit redundant. Especially when maps I like but know fools others don’t are in jeopardy.

All about playing the game

I really need to replay these and form a solid opinion. Because in my memory I liked Crime and Punishment least, but it’s also the only one I 100%ed (maybe that was just for the sniper tho).
