No offense taken, though it is completely off-topic and belongs in the Ask HMF Anything-topic.

I heard many good things about the product, to the point that some people can’t seem to get enough of it, but I’ve never tried it, nor will I ever. There are some health concerns I have taken note of and that worry me a bit too much, honestly. I would not recommend it to other people either.

My motto is: Don’t do drugs, and give all your upvotes to Miami in this tier.

As a fan of Miami I would assume your preferred method of cocaine consumption would be via coconut ball

At least the other two sniper assassin maps have breathtaking environments. Never much cared for a dull port. It may have been an interesting regular map though (unlike the prison which would have to be changed extensively to allow for fun gameplay and Himmelstein which would be just a smaller Showstopper).

Instead of three targets scattered about, put one roamer in the dockyard and one on the ship. Would bring back some cool Deadly Cargo memories.

I am so happy to see all the love Whittleton Creek is getting.I didn’t actually expect so many people to like this map so much as I do,but I used to be wrong about Mumbai’s general perception in the past too,so…
Anyways,I made a promise a few days ago and I wanted to keep it.

Here it is:

Why Whittleton Creek is great

The atmosphere is very pleasant and the map looks visually gorgeous. On the surface,a picture perfect suburban dream:wide roads, golden maple trees, verdant lawns.(In case anyone recognized these words, yes, they are from the mission intro )..The
music playing while walking on the streets is also so calm and relaxing and I love that.

The map design is really unique and it was executed in detail very nicely. Each fully explorable house, despite being small, has a lot of different ways to infiltarte:a front door,a back door,a basement entrance,a garage, open windows and many
pipes. Also, even though it is just a small detail,I like how you can jump from the roofs of the houses and the way the fences connect the houses is nice too.

Another really great aspect I have to mention are the numerous unique gameplay mechanics(which can be more or less useful, but very nice to have them either way and some of them towards the end aren’t actually unique and appear in other locations too,but they aren’t as fun to use in other maps as in this one tbh). The most notable examples:
-mailboxes
-doorbells
-hydrants
-arkian robes(if you played a specific featured contract, which was mine btw,you know what I mean and if you didn’t I would be very happy if you would).
-the ability to place food on tables(who needs plate carrying when you have this?)
-manholes
-the option to knock people out with a rake.
-gas stove explosions

Now,let’s talk a bit about the main mission itself.
Both targets have really good routes, allowing a lot of creativity when it comes to killing them and the story is also pretty interesting. Our job here is to find clues about the Ark Society and even though many seem to dislike this objcetive,it was very fun for me to discover all of them during my first runs and even though I admit that a part of their charm is gone now, they still don’t bother me because they are close to my targets, they don’t take too much time to collect and there are multiple ways to complete the objective. The targets’ personality is
really interesting too.Cassidy is very paranoid about security(he even has undercover agents in town, which is another unique gameplay aspect about this map btw) while Janus is trying to live a calm and quiet life, without forgetting his past(which is symbolized in the best way possible thanks to the awesome music which is playing right now on Youtube as I am writing this post by the way ).

There are also some of the best and most memorable mission stories in the triology in this mission.Presenting the house for sale to Cassidy and at the end ironically killing him in the vault thanks to his own paranoia about security by enabling the laser system while he’s desperately trying to escape?Or coming to Janus’ house as a nurse to have the surprise that his guard wants to check your ID and then needing to find a way out and
figure out how to run his health check unnoticed and under pressure and at the end having his fragile life in your own hands while he is unknowingly telling you how much he used to despise you ?Hell yes!

So,in conclusion,Whittleton Creek is great,so stop substracting points from it.I mean, couldn’t you just eliminate those cheap special assignments or those badly designed sniper maps and leave this map alone?

What’s wrong with everyone substracting points from Nightcall?Sure,it is not as good as other missions, but would you rather let special assignments or sniper maps advance instead of it?

One of my opinions about Nightcall from an older topic btw:

I really like Hawkes Bay because it is something different(in a good way) from all the other levels. The atmosphere is great, the hidden panic room is a cool element ,you are allowed to explore the whole map freely before the target arrives, sneaking through the tall grass is fun for me,the target has a very interesting personality and some really great kills(like killing Alma in her sleep, poisoning the ventilation system or poisoning her honey/sugar-I like the randomess factor). :slightly_smiling_face:

Nightcall is alright (it has great mood and pacing but isn’t the best tutorial), but at the end of the day it is just a rather paired down regular mission. I’d rather see one of the better Special Assignments or Sniper Missions make an appearance in the finals, more unique/novel

or just cut Mumbai entirely and have both  but can’t have everything I suppose

Do good special assignments even exist?:joy:

I would have preffered Santa Fortuna to leave and I would have saved both Nightcall and Himmelstein if I could, but I can’t have everything either, right?

A Bitter Pill is a decent mission. It’s not offensively bad

Dare we make an unholy alliance? :flushed: I’d be willing to sacrifice my beloved SF for Himmelstein
