Situs Inversus… I absolutely love the atmosphere in Hokkaido, and the map is something special. The first and last map with disguise restrictive electronic doors in the trilogy, and of course Soders’ positioning which was new and challenging to kill.

Club 27… well, Bangkok was a huge disappointment for me; Targets are not that special characteristic and kill method wise, and I hate the map and atmosphere deeply due to some reasons.

Honestly I don’t find AHBOS anything special, it’s probably my least favourite bonus mission (in H2016). Both targets seem nothing special to me and my favourite part of Marrakesh was the embassy

As for Freedom Fighters, it’s a fully fleshed out main mission that tried something a little different from all the rest and imo it works. It’s a little flat perhaps which limits your variety of movement across it, but I think it’s wonderful regardless. And it’s one of the H2016 maps I gravitate back to the most

It’s funny reading this because I completely disagree. To me the embassy and the school are the weakest parts of Marrakesh, the best part of Marrakesh is the city area. To me, AHBOS is better than A Gilded Cage because it actually focuses on the city, rather than on the boring buildings, and that awful tunnel. I don’t love the mission to be honest, but I do think it is the only bonus mission/holiday mission/special assignment/Patient Zero mission that is better than its main mission counterpart.

As for Freedom Fighters, I think it’s alright, but I think it also showcases why Hitman often works best in domestic settings, rather than military settings. I don’t find any of the disguises interesting, they’re just different types of soldiers, feel like you can’t do anything that interesting with them. There is the hacker disguise but it is severely limited. Think Sean Rose is the only good target and the other 3 all feel very half baked, I feel like one target should of been cut and their opportunities given to another target.

Amazed there are people upvoting The Vector. It’s alright but it does feel a bit janky, and really, no idea why you wouldn’t just play the 3 sniper missions from Hitman 2.

I won’t be voting for it or anything, but it has a strong gimmick that’s at least fun for 10 or so playthroughs (or until all the challenges are complete) and its a fun throwback to Silent Assassin. That’s all more than I can say for snow festival.

I don’t like Club 27, it’s probably the weakest H2016 main mission for me. But the fact THE SOURCE is beating it?! Madness! The Source has all the flaws of Club 27 plus some extra topped on for good luck.

• Only one starting area (bad for contracts)
• The level suffers even more with NPC-standstillitis
• Both targets are painfully dull, both in character and route
• Only 2 floors of the hotel (on one half of the hotel) are really used for the mission

Definitely agree, it’s by no means a strong mission but it has a gimmick and plays it really well imo. I’ve played it many times since release because it’s a different flavour you don’t find in other missions (even sniper assassin)

Because it is far superior compared to the 3 sniper assassin missions in some ways.Sure,the sniper assassin missions are more complex,but that is their biggest problem too:
-There are 2/3 main targets,but there are also a lot of optional targets(the bodyguards) and unfortunately,the idea of optional targets in these missions is not really well executed(because unless you trigger the evacuation and wait until all the guards leave the area,you still have to eliminate all the optional targets…)
-There are a lot of opportunities to create accident kills,but the bodies still count as found and the evacuation can be still triggered,so what’s the point of accident kills anymore?
The Vector however is a simpler sniper mission where you only have to eliminate 5 targets,but the accident kills actually work like accident kills and it has a really fun gimmick too.So,I am glad to see some support for this mission(even though I doubt it will survive for long).
