Hitman Mission Championship - The Finale

So help out with Miami? Come on, it will be fun just like the mission.

Nah, I still would prefer a classic mission but I won’t begrudge you voting for Miami. I’ll just be voting for classic and downvoting whatever

It’s eventually gonna go down to luck. The last 2 missions are about who votes first, cause it will be very divided.

@Accidental_Kills98 Your attempt to reassert common sense here by upvoting Sapienza, although futile in the end, was still admirable. If it’s any consolation to you, remember that Sapienza ended up second last time, so it had nothing to prove anymore this time around.

The really funny part in this entire story though is that this topic is already close to 300 posts, yet only two missions have been eliminated so far.

The problem with being 50 percent good levels (down forty percent due to WoT’s elimination) is that it is hard to downvote anything especially if you are pussyfooting around people’s feelings about a level you want to focus on.

I didn’t have a clear “enemy” level until now Anathema but before we all had Absolution and the truly weak levels to pick on.

Sadly we live in times where commonsense isn’t so common.

I love how Anathema is now objectively better than Sapienza in 2025.

Nothing from H2:SA is objectively better than anything from WoA, except for the chrome Silverballer suppressors.

So once Anathema is eliminated does that mean Wooloomooloo Creek is objectively better?

I’d say so, yes. The logic tracks.

Well at least the logic is consistent.

Then let’s make sure Anathema is the one to break the news directly to Sapienza in the grave they are about to share! :winking_face_with_tongue:

Your arrogance love for H2:SA blinds you, Master Elite Institute.

Oh, it’s very correct. You can’t even hid bodies in bins. Case closed.

Nuh-uh. You’re :lion:.

Et tu, Fixer?

I am sad. I love Sapienza and think it is a wonderful level. If anything, the fact that people decided to try and kill it now before it could gain a lot of points is perhaps proof of its greatness. The funny thing, if anyone remembers the target championship from ages back, this is the second time this sortof thing has happened to Sapienza. In that championship, Silvio Caruso was killed in the first heat he was in, because it was obvious he was a hot contender who could win the whole thing.

As for Miami, it is a level I have mixed feelings about. Not about its quality, it is indeed a great level, almost effortlessly so. I get why it won last time, and I can understand why someone would say it is their favourite level. I enjoy Miami, but I don’t enjoy it as much I enjoy a lot of other WoA missions, even from Hitman 2 like Santa Fortuna, Mumbai, and Whistling Creek. I feel like Paris, Miami, and Dubai are all “standard” levels, all of them being the poster boy for their respective Hitman game, all of them being quite big, but also quite easy to navigate, and rather impressive in scope. Other levels tend to mix things up a bit more, which I find more interesting. Not sure if that makes any sense.

Also, to be pedantic, I think Miami is at its best in contracts mode and ghost mode before it was deleted. I think The Finish Line is a good mission, but it doesn’t utilise some parts of the map. Robert Knox I think is a good target but nothing special. I think Sierra Knox is a great target, but I think she does suffer from being a bit of a lengthy target if you want to bother killing her out of her race car. If you want to try and do all the mission opportunities involving her, you’re best of putting a couple of saves down rather than just doing all of them from scratch. And if you’re doing the level in a very casual way, or SA, I’m not really sure why you wouldn’t just beeline for Robert Knox and kill Sierra when she’s in her car.

It is a great level and great mission though. I always thought Miami was the level most deserving of getting a proper bonus mission to utilise more of it. (The Special Assignment doesn’t count.) But not for me. I won’t be downvoting it yet, I’m still naive enough to be straight and vote down my least favourite and vote up my new current favourite, which I’ll need to ruminate on.

If map use is what you value then the SA probably counts for even less.

Insert DJ Khaled “Suffering From Success” cover art here.

Been thinking about bringing it back.

Poor Silvio, even poorer Rangan. I pulled so hard for the two of them.

I am trying to think of ways to avoid this sort of stuff from happening if I ever decide to do the target competition.
