Hitman Mission Championship - The Finale

I don’t feel like it’s just jokes (to some people).
Nevertheless, I shall play.

Don’t worry, no one is getting banned for voting. It’s just a joke, if I wanted to ban @Heisenberg it wouldn’t be over this

Yeah, it’s fine @thefixer47. I’ve committed real offenses over the years.

As much as I appreciate seeing you upvote Mendoza, I am genuinely concerned by this trend of downvoting other WoA missions. Whether you realise it or not, this will only make the WoA level you are trying to protect become weaker in the long run. The less WoA missions left, the easier it is for the nostalgics to downvote the remaining ones in favour of the classic missions.

Once Miami inevitably reaches the wrong finish line, there will only be 3 WoA missions left alongside 18 classic ones prone to threaten them. In other words, inner conflicts among WoA missions will only weaken the chance of any of them winning and should be completely avoided going forward.

What the hell?! I’m gone for one day and Miami is like this??

My goal isn’t to see a WOA level win or not win. It was to make sure it wasn’t Sapienza or Miami.

Clearly I favour The Farewell out of what’s left, but I won’t be upset if ToTT or Meatkings Party win. Beldingford Manor and Situs Invertus are also solid levels.

You are about one World of Tomorrow too late to worry about WoA being targeted by the oldheads. They have been doing it for ages now and it has been working simply because they are numerous.

And between you, me and the thoroughly non-existent walls I think this finale has been horribly balanced. (Sorry @Silvereyes be we could have benefited from a semi-finale or maybe doing an Old V New thing)

The inverse is also true there are still so many old levels and not a single Old Head has a mutual target beyond WoA.

If Ochoa or Norse or whomever want their nostalgic fav to win they would be wise to start winnowing their competing old levels right now. Because their elimination of the other levels gives us a single rallying point (Go Operation Hyperinflation, let’s inflate Mendoza’s score!) that we could theoretically defend easier.

The best racing term would be that would be that Finish Line is a DNF (Did Not Finish)

Now you know what-

Wait I have said this to you before haven’t I?

It seems you completely missed my point then. What I was trying to say was that the only chance to see a WoA mission and implicitly Mendoza, your favourite, winning is by not attacking any other WoA mission from now on.

Yeah, probably. I’m sorry this tournament has seen so many people be unhappy, or want to quit it. I didn’t mean to hurt anybody when I started this, I thought it would just be some bit of harmless fun.

My favs are long gone Mano. Landslide and AHBOS. If you “new kids” or “non nostalgics” want to make sure it’s a WOA level then perhaps you should caucus and come out of the smoke filled room all supporting the same one.

I’m almost 40 years old and I remember playing C47 when it first came out… I maintain Im not deliberately trying to sink the WOA levels. My pick for best level in the series is Landslide followed by AHBOS, but then maybe it’s Mendoza and maybe it’s ToTT… I just don’t know which version lol.

I mean I am still having fun. At this point I am sadder we got rid of Wilton Creek than WoT at this point.

If anything this has made me not want to quit. I have so much to do and so much chaff to sort out. If anything being free of WoA will help me focus on BM mostly because a BM win would get under half the oldheads’ skins.

The road to hell is paved with novelty forum competitions.

We play a game about killing people as our idea of fun. How could a bloodbath be anything other than the final outcome?

Besides every failure is simply an education, we know two things. One is to how better balance the contest going forward and that half the people on this forum have absolutely no taste.

This is what it should be! If you’re not enjoying it then don’t play!!!

I am very happy you brought the tournament back up. It’s fun and gives us something to squabble over. We should do it after every new game comes out.

I am pretty sure their priority is to ensure that a classic mission wins, rather than making their favourite classic level win in particular. That’s just my overall impression though. Plus, they would have all the time in the world left to fight against each other after dealing with a number as small as 3 of WoA missions.

Joke’s on you, but I’ve been a pessimist since the final’s start in that regard, otherwise I wouldn’t have given so much support exclusively towards The Meat King’s Party right from the beginning.

Me trying to rally for a WoA win.

The Contracts one of course.

@Silvereyes exactly this, i have more fun with this silly forumgame than actually playing the WoA by now😂

Maybe for Ochoa since he hasn’t voted the same level with any sort of consistency (as a smokescreen tactic I reckon) it is but I think even the oldheads still have a level they want to win.

Yeah I also saw the writing on the wall but sadly you have the benefit of having a mission you like from a classic level so nobody has really touched it. But they will almost as soon as our levels are gone, sure as the sun rises they will go for the king.

And you know what we say when we take aim at kings, right?

If I had a couple more of you on my side my beloved would still be with me.
