How about spending a bit of time watching some walkthroughs on Youtube, so you can actually have a proper opinion on the remaining non-WoA levels then? They are 9 in total, so it shouldnât take too long.

I will remind everyone, before things turn sour. That even though this is all fun and games. If youâre unable follow the forum guidelines, you should rethink if this is the right thread to post in or at least return when youâre more collected.
Some people really are pieces of work, arenât they? You put all your heart and soul into something and people wonât even meet you halfway. Props to Fix for trying to salvage Mendoza even if he was so impossibly late.
Like people will say âYou are late to the partyâ but he might as well have been invited to wine tasting at Hadrianâs villa.
Between you me and the wall though, I never liked Contracts all that much. It isnât as fundamentally bad as Absolution but the game always gave me the proverbial âickâ.
Ah okay, so I wasnât tripping. You were literally just saying âIâm not doing this thingâ whilst doing that exact thing. Bizarre behaviour.
Oh yeah my bad, I should have taken the time to scroll back through 15 hours worth of posts in this thread to see how you made an incorrect botched vote much earlier today and so needed to correct it later on.
Great to have you state clearly here that youâre just a troll looking to wind people up. Lovely stuff!
How dare you even bring Absolution into the same discussion with Contracts?!
Between you, me and the same wall though, Contracts isnât a good game per se, at least not by todayâs standards. Itâs very clunky gameplaywise (better than its two predecessors though) and half of its missions are bad, awful actually. The reason I am biased towards it though is because I really love its dark atmosphere, which simply feels unique in the franchise. Props to Jesper Kydâs fantastic soundtrack by the way, I love listening to some parts of it like White Room & Main Title, Swat Team or Slaughter Club even in contexts unrelated to playing the game.
The way 47âs dark and cold psychology is explored through the story is another standout for me.
No mission from Contracts onwards captures a similar feeling to the one in The Meat Kingâs Party when 47 discovers the dead girlâs body, for example .
Perhaps it would be useful to illustrate my love for Contracts through one of its mission highlights, since I've already mentioned my dear The Meat King's Party. The text below is from one of my earlier posts in this topic, in case you haven't already read it.
I genuinely believe that The Meat Kingâs Party is among Hitman Contractsâ finest. Few missions in the franchise make me as emotionally invested as this one thanks to the devastating story about the kidnapped girl you are supposed to rescue, but ultimately find dead. To add to the tragedy, her actual killer is not even an ICA sanctioned target and negatively impacts the rating if killed (thankfully though, the Silent Assassin rating is still achievable in that case). The mission taking place in a slaughterhouse only amplifies the overall disturbing feeling and pictures an image of a rotten part of society which takes pleasure both literally and figuratively in gore. The gameplay mechanics of concealing a weapon inside a chicken for the Meat Kingâs poetic death and the usage of opium pipes to make the lawyer unconcious are equally memorable and creative. The missionâs only downside is its apparent linearity, but once you figure out how to bypass frisk points (which doesnât necessarily involve glitches, as bullet distractions work fine) and figure out how to abuse the gameâs relatively dumb AI (you can literally kill the lawyer out in the open with a melee item and get away with it completely unnoticed), there is no critique left to justify this mission being anything less than a masterpiece.
Briefly put, the atmosphere of a few select missions and the overall concept of the story are what really carry Contracts for me, but I can understand that may not be the case for everybody.
Despite having posted several times today, I almost forgot to actually vote.

I am quite sad to see Beldingford in such a bad shape, but, on the bright side, itâs the only mission out of the top 5 from the gameâs previous edition that managed to get far this time as well.
