Congratulations The Finish Line, enough corrupted fake fans dog piled on Traditions of the Trade out of personal bitterness
look at all that dignity
I spotted @MrOchoa tampering with the pyrotechnics diplay under the podium where āThe Finish Lineā will receive its award. There was a bewildered look in his eyes, muttering something about traditions that need to be respected. Probably getting worried over nothing though, heās a good bloke.
I had my suspicions about the spoilered explanation, but thanks for the confirmation anyway because I really wasnāt sure!
A good winner. Love the mission ā although I prefer other missions. But nevertheless a worthy winner.
And thanks @Silvereyes for hosting this championship.
Itās all over
What do I do every day now? An extra 5 minutes of SC8 grinding (wasting my time )? My poor routine!
Great the second best could win though
@Silvereyes Hitman Target Championship when?
Also wanted to thank you for going through all the hassle of setting those Games up, you make HMF a even better and even more alive Community.
This is the spreadsheet Iāve been working on throughout this finale.
Some factoids (all I could come up with for now):
- There were 380 voting turns in total, including 29 participants, with on average 13 votes per person.
- Beldingford Manor got the most upvotes of all levels in this finale, 50, and probably the entire championship. Traditions of the Trade used to hold this record with 46.
- Chasing a Ghost was dead for a total of 41 turns and died on its 3rd turn upon revival.
- World of Tomorrow had a streak of 11 turns near the end where someone upvoted or downvoted it. It could have been 22 turns in a row but Ingvar voted for the other 2 levels and broke the chain.
- The most amount of points a level had at once was Apex Predator with 28.

Iām 99% sure thereās a minor mistake in there as some numbers donāt add up but I am too tired to check for it now.
Thanks for hosting this, Silver.
I love all of that post!
And I adore this because of how it all comes together.
A mission with a race in it winning a race,
The Finish Lineās line being the line in the end.
Seeing Traditions of the Trade valiant struggle does hurt a bit though. You can really see all the hate pushing it down. Poor thing
great work, meng.
itās a solid top ten imo
Thanks for all the data @eydontactdumb, that is both useful and very entertaining. Thanks for everyone for participating and for all the backstabbing and betrayals and everyone insulting everyone else. Truly this is model forum behaviour.
I plan to make an āaftermathā thread in a few hours, once I get back from hanging out with some friends today. Going to copy paste eyās factoids, and really just a nice sortof monument to all the insanity that happened over the last couple months.
I will do a target championship in the future but I would like to rest the championships for a little bit. Maybe once we hit August Iāll start that new championship up, just have a bit of breathing room.
i never insulted a single one of these fannies.
Waiting for the Maps Championship. Would it be any different?
I donāt have any interest in doing something focused solely on maps. It would pretty just be WOA levels, and I guess Absolution levels too since they have Contracts mode. I donāt see how a map and a mission are inseperable in the first 4 games, with the exception of stuff like 2 missions being set in St Petersburg.
You got a point here. But since the newer games are superior anyway it wouldnāt matter.
The Finish Lineās Road to Victory: part 1
William1066 was the first one to upvote the eventual winner. #influencer
EvilGeniusRo didnāt seem to have the same qualms with this mission when it entered the competition as he did near the end of it. #schizophrenic
I supported The Finish Line at the start as well. #sycophant #nostradamus
The first (and only!) person to downvote Miami during the heat. #poorjudgement
But letās take pity on him given this disclaimer. #forgiveness
Man that guy is good. Who is that guy? Heās GOOD! #theguyNostradamuswentto
Nice stats. Itās a deserved victory alright.
And ignore Hawkeās Bay?! Ha
The Finish Lineās road to victory Part 2:
Hichkasā opinion turned out to be the right one after all. #colourfulcharacter
The Finish Line received ZERO downvotes during the quarter and semi-finals. #untouchable
It later continued on this trajectory during the finals:

This pales in comparison with The Finish Line which got its first +1 on the 5th turn but was forgotten until the 147th turn when it got a -2. Thatās 141 turns in between where absolutely nothing happened to it.
The person responsible for that -2 is none other than

The Finish Line [19] -2
Wait, wasnāt that our #trendsetter?
Pretty cool to see how The Finish Line mostly won because most people simply left it alone.
