Community Wishlist: New Maps, Co-op & Hardcore Difficulty Ideas for the Next Hitman Game
Hi everyone,
As a huge fan of the World of Assassination trilogy, I’ve been thinking about potential new locations, gameplay features, and difficulty options for the next Hitman game. I wanted to share some ideas that could offer incredible sandbox gameplay while also giving veteran players new ways to play.

Part 1: Location Wishlist
1. Giza Pyramids & Antiquities Museum — Egypt ![]()
Concept: A large map combining a high-security modern antiquities museum with the Giza Pyramids, desert areas, excavation sites, and tourist areas.
Atmosphere: A mix of ancient Egyptian history and modern security, creating many different areas for Agent 47 to explore.
Disguises: Tourists, museum staff, security guards, archaeologists, excavation workers, and maintenance workers.
Opportunities: Players could use museum exhibits, excavation equipment, construction areas, and the surrounding environment to create different assassination opportunities.

2. Himalayan High-Altitude Research Facility — Himalayas ![]()
Concept: A secret research facility hidden in the snowy Himalayan mountains, combined with an old monastery and dangerous mountain paths.
Atmosphere: Heavy snowstorms could reduce visibility and mask sounds, while the indoor areas would provide tight and challenging stealth gameplay.
Disguises: Monks, researchers, scientists, mountain guides, security guards, and maintenance workers.
Opportunities: Players could use the snow, cable cars, mountain paths, weather conditions, and the facility’s security systems to create different approaches.

3. More Missions Across the Arabian Gulf ![]()
I would love to see more Hitman missions set across the Gulf, with each country having a completely different atmosphere and gameplay style.
Bahrain — Manama Souq
Instead of another futuristic skyscraper map, Bahrain could feature Manama Souq and the surrounding traditional streets.
Concept: A busy traditional market filled with shops, restaurants, narrow alleys, old buildings, tourists, and local businesses.
Atmosphere: Crowded streets would create opportunities for blending into the crowd, while the narrow alleys could provide secret routes and hidden areas.
Disguises: Shopkeepers, restaurant workers, security guards, delivery workers, tourists, market workers, and event staff.
Mission ideas: A target could be attending a private meeting inside the souq, moving between different shops, or visiting a nearby traditional building.
The contrast between the old market and modern areas of Manama could make this a very unique Hitman map.

Saudi Arabia — World Esports Tournament
Saudi Arabia could feature a completely different type of Hitman environment: a massive international esports tournament.
Concept: A huge esports arena hosting teams and players from around the world, with thousands of spectators, backstage areas, VIP lounges, team rooms, media areas, and restricted security zones.
Atmosphere: Bright screens, huge crowds, live broadcasts, professional gaming teams, commentators, and a highly controlled backstage environment.
Disguises: Esports players, coaches, event staff, security guards, camera operators, journalists, technicians, and VIP guests.
Mission ideas: The target could be a powerful businessman, team owner, corrupt sponsor, or high-profile guest attending the tournament.
Players could move between the public arena and restricted backstage areas while trying to avoid security and cameras.
This would give Hitman a very different atmosphere compared to traditional luxury-hotel or skyscraper maps.

Oman — Muscat Mountains & Coast
Oman could offer another completely different environment, combining mountains, coastline, traditional architecture, and luxury resorts.
Concept: A large map around Muscat featuring a coastal resort, mountain roads, traditional buildings, and a secluded private area.
Atmosphere: A combination of mountains, sea, desert landscapes, and traditional Omani architecture.
Disguises: Hotel employees, tour guides, security guards, fishermen, drivers, construction workers, and resort staff.
Mission ideas: A target could be staying at a secluded resort, attending a private meeting near the mountains, or traveling by boat along the coast.

Part 2: 2–3 Player Co-op
One of my biggest wishes for the next Hitman game would be a 2–3 player co-op mode.
Players could enter the same mission together as different assassins and coordinate their plans.
Possible features:
- 2 or 3 players can play the same mission together.
- Each player can choose a different disguise and approach.
- Players can split up and investigate different areas.
- One player can create a distraction while another reaches the target.
- Players can coordinate simultaneous takedowns.
- Different objectives could be given to each player.
- If one player makes a mistake, the others can adapt and continue the mission.
- The team could receive a higher score for completing the mission without being detected.
- Some challenges could require all players to work together.
For example, during the Saudi esports tournament mission, one player could infiltrate the backstage area, another could enter through the media section, and a third could access the VIP area.
The three players would then need to coordinate their plans to reach the target.
This could make Hitman a fantastic co-op experience while keeping the strategic sandbox gameplay that makes the series unique.

Part 3: Suggested Custom Difficulty — “Extreme Realism”
1. Dynamic Suspicion & AI Memory
Guards should remember suspicious behavior for longer.
If a player repeatedly acts strangely while wearing a disguise, guards could follow them or request confirmation.
Trespassing in important restricted areas could also trigger longer lockdowns.
2. Limited Inventory & Realistic Carrying
Large weapons and equipment should be harder to conceal depending on the disguise.
Different outfits could have different amounts of storage, forcing players to carefully decide what equipment to bring.
3. Environmental Hardcore Elements
Extreme environments could directly affect gameplay.
For example:
- Deep snow could leave footprints.
- Extreme heat could affect stamina.
- Heavy clothing could become uncomfortable in hot environments.
- Weather could affect visibility and sound.
- Certain environments could make movement more difficult.
4. Hardcore Intel & No Mini-Map
On the highest difficulty, the mini-map could be completely removed.
Players would need to rely on:
- Audio cues
- Signs and maps around the environment
- NPC conversations
- Security cameras
- Observation
- Information collected during the mission
This would make the highest difficulty much more challenging for experienced players.
-–
Part 4: More Missions & Replayability
I would also love to see multiple missions and scenarios within the same location instead of having only one main mission.
For example:
Bahrain ![]()
- Manama Souq mission
- Traditional building mission
- Waterfront mission
- Private meeting mission
- Large public event mission
Saudi Arabia ![]()
- International esports tournament
- VIP event mission
- Backstage mission
- Stadium mission
- Media and broadcast mission
Oman ![]()
- Mountain mission
- Coastal resort mission
- Traditional area mission
- Private yacht mission
- Desert mission
Each location could have different targets, stories, disguises, and opportunities, encouraging players to replay the maps and discover new strategies.

Final Thoughts
I believe the next Hitman game could become much bigger by combining new locations, more complex AI, extreme difficulty options, and especially 2–3 player co-op.
My biggest wishes would be:
1.
A unique Bahrain mission set around Manama Souq.
2.
A large Saudi Arabian mission based around an international esports tournament.
3.
A unique Oman mission combining mountains, coastline, and traditional architecture.
4.
A Giza Pyramids and Antiquities Museum map.
5.
2–3 player co-op missions.
6.
More missions and opportunities within each location.
7.
An Extreme Realism/Hardcore difficulty.
8.
More Middle Eastern locations with their own unique identities.
What do you think of these ideas? Which location or feature would you want to see the most in the next Hitman game?
