Hitman WOA - Challenge Ideas

— Scorched Earth Policy —

Type - Feats
Condition:

Destroy every unarmored vehicle in the consulate parking garage. (There are 16. The heavy camouflaged military vehicles don’t take damage.)

Mission - A Gilded Cage

I tested this idea out in-game, and I think it’s actually a lot of fun whether you try to do it SA or not. Between loadout items and the many remote explosives, propane flasks, and guns lying around the garage/tunnel, you have a lot of resources available to accomplish the task; but you also have a bunch of soldiers who will try to stop you if you draw attention to yourself.

— Unguided Tour —

Type - Assassination or Feats
Condition:

Disguise yourself as Mr. Pritchard.
Disregard the facility tour guide and do not pick up the P41 form.
Enter the ICA data facility anyways and eliminate Imogen Royce.

Mission - End of an Era

You might also consider specifying “eliminate Imogen Royce using the core cleansing procedure” since that’s the kill method the typical guided tour encourages, but leaving the kill method open may be more accessible.

— Demolition Expert —

Type - Feats
Condition:

Simultaneously breach all three loose walls in the colonial ruins using three Makeshift Explosives.
Makeshift Explosives can be crafted using the explosives worktable located in the pirate camp.

Mission - Shadows in the Water

This challenge is a bit of a scavenger hunt. The explosives worktable softly tutorializes most of what you need to do by instructing the player that they require gunpowder and fuse cells to craft Makeshift Explosives, and one of each material can be found very close by. However, the rest of the materials are scattered throughout the map. As-is, the challenge is intentionally very comprehensive since the goal is to demonstrate expertise/mastery of this aspect of Ambrose Island while also utilizing an interesting feature of the game (i.e. placing multiple of the same remote explosive gives you a single trigger that detonates all of them). That being said, it’s nowhere near as much work as something like Elderly Assistance or The Hero of Santa Fortuna.

Thanks for the update on my “A Personal Contract” challenge as i had the idea of having something similar to the challenge in “The Ark Society”, as it would make it a kind of “Unique” challenge. I just updated the challenge pack suggestion and changed the St. Petersburg Stakeout because, I am unsure of whether to keep it in Santa Fortuna or change it back to Siberia but, I think it should be wherever the community and IO want it to be. Again thanks for the feedback, I’m going to try and work on some images and other challenge packs for sniper, go, and one recapping all of the Hitman franchise with references in the pack and rewards.

Because I still wish for one non-silly suit in Year 4. (please @Marchouette @Combatglue)
The suit is already in the game files, since release.

(And to be irritably entitled and never satisfied: would love it if the pin was replaced by something more appropriate, like a providence pin.

The current “II” pin was created for when the suit was supposed to be a reward to players who completed an Elusive Target in Hitman 2, like the Winter Suit was for Hitman 2016. Hence the name and colder theme with the turtle-neck.)

I believe that these challenges could be good references to past and current parts of the franchise. The last challenge was created because you don’t really get anything for gathering every achievement, so i thought that would be a pretty good reward.

Love the idea of that 47 figure being an explosive. Its cartoon style even fits right in with Napoleon Blownaparte.

Thanks, I kind of want to add more merchandise as weapons. I think it will be a great addition to the game and possibly make for even better safehouse cosmetics in freelancer. (such as collectors decorations that a fan of the franchise would appreciate.)

I do like the achievement for all challenges (I’ve recently 100% WOA), because there must be a fulfilling reward for it, imo. But this may prove difficult, as new challenges are being added.

I assumed that it meant achievements as in the ones that are tied to your steam/xbox/playstation profile, I think there’s around 120 of those ones. I didn’t think it meant all challenges

since io is making project 007, here are my ideas for some james bond related challenges:

@Vytosan Some good ideas I hope they do add some Bond stuff in as a sort of cross-promotion thing at some point.
Though isn’t this one a bit too similar to the Overkill challenge that already exists?

Also could perhaps have some more Bond-themed new items tied in for the unlocks.
For example instead of a Stethoscope on “For Your Eyes Only”, why not something like 007’s Cigarette Case Safe Cracker?

But I’m just spitballing here

SASONKO is, I think, too much for most players. And not that interesting in its gameplay variety.
SANKO though? Fun, open to undercover starting locations and other placed disguises, a delight to do even to the casual player. A good challenge in its most essential definition.

(Doing both would make the first one redundant when it will inevitably be optimized to do them in one run.
Which would be a shame because undercover starts and placed disguise are underrated and underutilized. It would frustrate the point of the idea.)
