I can understand some of those not being unlockable suits due to breaking the balance of certain maps, but I really like your challenge ideas, and the items chosen as rewards.
Out of all your list, I would like these to be unlockable the most:
- Tactical Turtleneck with Gloves
- Ninja
- All the default starting suits from each map
- The three Aluminum Travel Briefcases
- Black Winter Suit
- Druzhina 34 ICA
- Platform Exclusive suits
- Green Easter Egg
- Vampire Magician suit
The only suits I would add to your list that you didn’t mention is the regular Haven Island Swimwear, the Sniper Assassin Suit, and the Mario and Luigi plumber suits from Sapienza.
I personally would make the Sniper Assassin Suit the reward for Mastery 20 on Himmelstein and the Druzhina 34 ICA the reward for Mastery 20 on Hantu Port. Although I would like the Mastery Level in that mode be rebalanced and be more reasonable.

Like with @LocoGamingRocker I’m not a huge fan of the “disguises turned into suits” unlocks that are being suggested here. It causes unnecessary headaches for both player expectations (unlockable suits and disguises used in-game, no matter how trivial their uses, should not be intertwined, as the potential to be confused for each other is too great), and when documenting the damn game (adding asterisks to suits that differ very slightly is very annoying to keep track of).
We already have this problem with the Ghostly Fan and the Plague Doctor outfits (there is practically no difference in visuals, but they have actual differences as disguises). The gown outfit from the Eminem contract is practically identical to the “Perfect Subject” disguise in Chongqing, so that’s gonna cause some problems if that was ever made into an unlockable.
I know, i’m being a killjoy, but these things matter. This game is about consistency, we should probably keep it that way.
I do fully approve of a silenced Striker though. That’d be really fun to have.

Are you just referring to issues like between the in-level Ghostly Fan disguise and the unlockable version? The easy fix for that is to make the unlockable versions function the same as the in-level versions (with appropriate enforcers and trespassing status on load-in). Personally, I don’t mind having an unlockable version of in-level disguises but I do agree it’s confusing when the unlockable version doesn’t function the same as the in-level one.
If it’s something more confusing than that, I guess I don’t understand then.

- There is a precedent for unlocking a Starting location with a challenge – Church Morgue in Sapienza with a “The Living Dead” challenge.
- Granted, if a Starting location doesn’t sound like an impressive thing to unlock, any unlockable outfit/s for either/both challenges would be perfect to seal the deal.
- Rest assured, these new starts will add some variety and new experinces, especially for anything that involves Suit – Suit Only runs, contracts with Suit conditions etc. Besides, there’s no reason to gatekeep these starts behind Freelancer from Campaign, Contracts mode, etc when they already exist.
Eliminating 5 agents without leaving either building might sound like a big ask, but it is totally possible:
- The following agents are viable for “Out of Sight”:
- Lowenthal, Rhodes, Tremaine – located inside the Biker building;
- Swan, Green, Thames, Davenport – located outside, but are possible to get in the line of fire from the building for firearm kills or accidents such as Falling Object or Explosion (Accident).
- The following agents are viable for “In Plain Sight”:
- Montgomery, Chamberlin, Banner, Davenport, Green – located inside the Club building (Green is on the rooftop, which should count as part of the building);
- Swan - located outside, but is available for a sniper kill, or a remote Falling Object or Explosion (Accident) kill from the club rooftop;
- Alternatively, calling a meeting as Rolf Hirschmuller will bring five agents to Rolf’s office.

It’s been months since our fruitless debate, and I have to say I still don’t get why you and some people consider this a genuine issue.
Superfan has been in the game for about a year unaltered (Plague Doctor received an unnecessary color change for the boots) and there’s been zero social media posts where someone genuinely can’t understand the difference between the suit and disguise variants.
Maybe it’s time to admit that this theoretical concern isn’t that big of a deal, if after a year nobody is expressing genuine confusion about this topic.
I guess by that merit bringing the discussion back up is also pointless.
Both sides were, and still are, valid here for sure.
Theoretical concern is still a concern for the future. And you shouldn’t have that concern when making a new unlockable suit, that means something has gone wrong somewhere in the suit’s design.
In fact, the Hitman Wiki has to have specific disambiguation redirects because the reader could be looking for either the suit or the disguise. It’s not a good look to have that sort of ambiguity in the game when learning or when researching it. It’s actually quite annoying.

I’m just gonna link to what I said back in April, and you can follow the conversation from there. My mind hasn’t really changed that much, and I suspect neither has theirs, considering they want to goad me into another argument.
God forbid something is bad for the game and we try not to make the same mistakes twice.

But it’s not really ambiguous, since the difference between what a suit/disguise does in the game is pretty simple? I’m not trying to goad you into having an argument again (Not sure why disagreeing with you on this subject is considered goading) but I’m genuinely puzzled that you and some other forum members consider this a serious issue, even insinuating that disguises as suits will somehow be genuinely detrimental to the game.

I also think this topic does not need to be restarted here but one could always bring new arguments to the topic Dribbleondo linked to.
Anyone who witnessed that discussion, regardless of the side picked, if any, can however tell that it is controversial to unlock disguises as suits. And since we have a new IO person reading these ideas who himself is not very experienced in the game yet, please really think if an idea really is a good, solid idea before posting here.

Type: Feat
Condition: Dress up as the Scarecrow and become a viral sensation with a guard.
Mission: Freedom Fighters
Unlock: Proximity Scarecrow Flash Device (a chibi-fied scarecrow that explodes with a five second flashbang when placed and activated when someone walks past). Basically a cross of The Iconator and the Roar Flash Grenade.

Continuing the discussion from Hitman WOA - Challenge Ideas:
It would be nice if Prestige Level 15 would add three more inventory slots …. maybe 20 could add an additional three. It would be a nice reward for people who play a lot of Freelancer. I’m sure that every five Prestige Levels could add something cool.
