If you just play in H1, there’s no need. If you want to play TS6 content in H3, then go ahead buying it.
Probably yes. I don’t think owners of H2016 PS4 will get it for free. It’s just €5, though.
We’ll know more next week.
Frankly, I’m looking forward to this one guy being so built up and so much emphasis placed on how difficult he is that Heisenberg is going to be back like an hour after release with a perfect video of how he did it.
I won’t watch that video because it will be some “suit only” garbage, but I’ll still laugh.
While I appreciate the faith, I’m afraid I don’t provide videos. Don’t know how and am concerned about security if I start posting my own media. I will however be providing a point-by-point description once I achieve success. And yes, I also can’t help but feel that all this build up will be a joke. Not that I doubt everybody who says this one is tough, but things have changed since this guy ran and, let’s face it, I tackle this game from a somewhat different headspace than most do. So it really could end up like that, although I’m hoping it stays challenging. And I really will be trying a suit only, although I’ll be fine if I have to don an outfit.
Of course, all of it is moot if I can’t handle the other targets in the campaign the way I want. I’m going for a different form of direct murder for each one, and if it can’t be done, then I won’t be so picky with my method for Morgan. I want to use the fiber wire on Sarno, a knife on Lunn, a bomb on Menard, there’s supposedly an opportunity to use consumable poison on Stubbs, then snap Morgan’s neck and shoot Koyama in the back of the head when he does his catholic cross thing. Other than Sarno being garroted and Koyama getting shot in the back of the head, I’m ok with mixing up the order of the rest of them, but if some of them can’t actually be done, I’m just gonna say fuck it and kill them all however, which will mean I’ll just have Morgan step into a puddle and trigger the remote micro-taser.
So see you next year?
I too would like to hear what you think after you attempted it for 1 day.
Well, don’t necessarily expect it on the first day. I’m gonna go through the campaign in order and I want my first kills on these guys to be specific things that might take a while to either succeed at or give up on and change methods, so it may be a few days.
Well at least the first day of you actually playing it. And I’m not sure if you’re expecting to do this but don’t watch anyone else’s runs on him so you get to experience him blind. That’s my only suggestion. Why? Cuz he is the only target in the entire trilogy that is unique.
GL, agent.
The only thing that makes this target easier is that the vast amount of new gear we have compared to h2016.
He may not be as difficult cuz of that.
I kinda forgot that and now thinking, I have lots of new ideas since back in 2016, I was able to master him SA/SONKO with an array of Kill methods.
All I’ve watched of them are their intros and Koyama’s speech. Nothing else is known to me about them except which map I face high one.
Welcome to the end of the thought process. You have now entered the Heisenberg zone of thinking.
Retreat, @47saso47, retreat! For god´s sake, fall back and save yourself!!!
So much talk about how much of a pain The Mercenary is, yet no talk of his god awful assassination challenge which is even worse that I hope is removed from the WoA release. “Kill the Mercenary with the haybale” when he doesn’t ever walk under it and trying to lure him underneath it without having the ability to save is fucking torture.
Re: Haybale kill. What I would try…
KO the 2 guards in the hayloft, place a breaching charge on the haybale winch, get close enough to him (maybe without his guards?) for him to follow you asking “Who the f-k are you!?” to the right spot, then detonate the bc. All in a spec-ops disguise, of course. His suspicion of you might make others suspicious of you, but they’ll likely forget once he’s squished.
That’s how I think it could be done. Unless he insta-agros instead of asking questions.
In theory it could work - I just remember the challenge being an absolute nightmare in H1 partly due to the stalker AI being so janky that I ended up KOing the guy, turning it into a “Kill Everyone (Else)” run and then dragging him over to the bale and dropping it. All with no saving.
Technically I did it twice since the challenge didn’t even work at Colorado launch, so had to do it all over again when the Hokkaido launch patch fixed it.
Now why would you recommend a formerly blind man who has finally gained the miracle of sight to go back to using braille?
I hope their fix is enabling saving rather than cutting the challenge out, since I’ve long spoken out about how I believe they should include every bit of legacy content possible in 3, both good and bad.
Good idea. While their at it, enable saving in Holiday Hoarders and Hokkaido Snow Festival, why dontcha?!
It does work and is very easy once you learn the lure part of it. Since having the required disguise to walk in and out of the barn, Morgan will follow you right in where you just time the drop of the hay bale just like you do with Parvati.
Or you could just slowly and quietly kill everyone else on the map or at least the vicinity, walk up to Morgan and KO him, then drag him under the bale and shoot it.
^^^^^ THIS ^^^^^
Sure but that takes longer than actually getting SA the other way. lol
