Unpopular opinion maybe, but I tend to agree as well. Most players just have the tendency to start shooting or stay up there longer than needed if they see a target or two that can be taken out from that vantage point.
And yes, I have been one of those players before!
All that being said, fantastic to see a mod’s QOL changes make its way into the main game as it should be for all players to enjoy.
I wonder if it’s linked to work made to create the future Blindfold Suit.
The failures seem to be at the moments the suit proper would be called and loaded (freelancer live wardrobe, and story mission launch). So could be an issue on either of those two.
That’s beyond silly, that along with some of the other breaks render entire crucial strategies unavailable. Wtf happened here? There’s no excuse for them not testing this stuff.
I can get that, because it was a drop that was announced and scheduled and it went wrong. That’s a mistake on the record. These breaks currently aren’t.
I hope we arent regressing to combatglue era communication, but my copium is that they technically dont go back to work until tuesday and the bowtie was scheduled
Also theres a certain irony that Hitman is online only to collect player data and drive up engagement, yet IO is ignorant to various concerns of the playerbase because they dont listen to them. Surely you should notice a hundred percent drop off in players picking hidden stashes and do something like checking the forum where players willingly offer up their data they’ve collected
I don’t even get how this glitches happen in the first place? What did they do to Hokkaido to break it that way? None of the fixes listed here have anything to do with the puking spots.
They always break things completely unrelated to what’s in the patch notes, it’s like there is a demon in their office that doesn’t want this game to be stable for some reason.
From what I’ve seen from skim reading in the Glacier Modding Discord (I wasn’t overly interested), some of the issues from the patch are because they put a bunch of files they shouldn’t have into deletion lists.
Fortunately for PC players, the Unofficial Community Patch mod has already fixed the poisoning and the Classic All Black Suit issues - so you don’t have to bare with.
I mean I have been waiting (and so do the poor lil neglected Xbox players) for a fix on the fatal bug I mentioned since February. And I took all the steps to submit a report on it in high detail. But it’s still there.
I am not a regular forum user whatsoever, I in fact made the account specifically to report that bug. And nobody seems to care or notice.
Unfortunately, we can’t (and shouldn’t be) relaying on community to fix IOI’s mistakes. Not to disrespect members of UCP, but we should be getting bug fixes more often than once in 3 months, from IOI themselves.
