I play on a laptop and the connection isn’t great because of travel and security features, so I have horrendous input lag 
opening the inventory takes a good 10 seconds! Which is the main reason I’m not on so often 
but the lodge will be done some day!

Well, I bought the PS5 version, and @Zevoros has managed to join. I had a wee look around, and good God, does the game run so much better on PS5 than it did on my PC. Incredibly impressive stuff that you guys have built near base camp, I especially love the Japanese themed garden. Will need to figure out where this Wild West town is so I can visit it.
made a place where anyone can get fireworks from.
I feel like we could have a place (even by the fireworks area) where we can set up a section and have supplies for blocks and items and such that we habe acquired that people will want. Armour, tools, the wood types etc. This could be paid (though it being stocked for friendly use would be kinder of course)
I’m not sure where the fireworks are but a little marketplace in the central village would be cute 
we could have stalls where we put things we have an abundance of, to help people in other biomes. I have snow for example, but Charlie might have terracotta. I’ve got dark oaks and spruce that others might not have. And if I do continue to demolish the mountain blocking my lodge’s view, there will be a pile of chests of dirt for those in dirtless biomes.
Might the Wild West railroad be connected to such a market?
Finished doing some ceiling work with an unconventional block. Just a reminder not to build on the hill opposite the lodge, because once the lodge is done, I’ll start demolishing that!
Has somebody moved my shulker boxes containing end loot that Blossom and Hitman_Statue_F brought me? I logged on today and all four are gone 
Oh oops I claimed them! I’ve moved them to @H_I_T_M_A_N_Statue_F’s amazing courtyard house and put them on some shelves. The loot is free to take from the barrels there and the gear is for anyone to use in the brown panda bakery. 
First game drop for 2026 has just released its first snapshot & beta/preview changing baby mobs & bunnies (sooooooo cute agggghhh) and adding a crafting recipe of one paper and one of any metal nugget for the name tag

Wow I was literally only on yesterday, Bitterball too! It’s like we knew… 
I put in a session and finished the lodge at long last (unless I decide to add additional rooms) 
@BlossomFox That’s a kind offer, but unneccesary. My last payment for Realms went through on January 2nd, just 6 days ago. There should be no reason why it has expired. I’ve submited a form to the Minecraft support team about this.
Google has people complain about this issue as well. Apparently it might simply due to the Realms falling “out of sync” with Minecraft itself, or something like that. I’ll notify you when I get a response.

The lodge is complete there are some bottom level doors that are decorative but can be turned into basement rooms at a later date if necessary. Maybe for storage because I need to remove my chests from view.
I’ll do a bit of terraforming here and there, and let the snow reclaim the area

I’m getting quite worried about not being able to play soon as I’m in the UK and the internet is getting a lot more restricted.
I use a VPN to play because I can’t connect to any minecraft servers without one for some reason. I tried for hours to fix it but it was the only thing that worked. VPNs will one day require a goverment ID or selfie and starting next month, so will chatting on Minecraft server. I’m hoping the VPNs won’t be affected for a while as that was just announced today, but I’m not sure if the chatting in Minecraft is based on the account region or current region. Hopefully it is the current region so the VPN would work for that.
I don’t really feel safe giving over this info to play on Minecraft or use a VPN for one. I’m also really scared about the future of the political climate over here. The right wing party will obviously relish in these terrible policies and as a minority who they love to remove rights from things aren’t looking so good for me or us.
