Not not-mentioned half enough, IMO.

Everyone beneath a certain rung on the corporate ladder is just trying to make a living. One of the mocap/voice actors had some words that made a lot of sense. Basically he said they just tried their best. << all of that is good.

Then the studio said it’s heartbroken. Yea… the bosses are heartbroken bc the game isn’t making them rich. However, apologising and saying you wish you did better is not cringe worthy. But we know the bosses knew it didn’t work.

Then the big boss says internal and external saboteurs are to blame :rofl:. That’s something a coked out maniac drug lord tell her/his employees when their own personal plan crumbles and they lose power or money or whatever and some of them are dead. “THIS IS SOME OF YOURS FAULT. WE HAVE SABOTEURS AMONG US AND ILL FIND OUT WHO YOU ARE!”

Absolutely no problem with that. You can try and fail, stand up and try again. But when your boss blames everyone and everything else, I don’t know, how good you can still defend anything.

Of course, in the end this could all be a big crosspromotion plan and in the end the big boss here is the major villain in the new James Bond game … unlikely, I guess.

Not really. Unfinished work is a sign of sloppiness. Then again, this project, and IOI’s maintenance of the game lately… :man_shrugging:

I don’t know. Maybe something as awful as the story of Absolution ist better left unfinished? But that’s just me, I guess.

For the rest: I don’t care much. I just have fun with the game.

You didn’t like the Absolution. It wasn’t a bug ridden mess that was basically unplayable. They are different.

I don’t have a Hitman game that is a bug ridden mess that is basically unplayable. When I play Hitman, everything works fine.

I guess, we both are. I thought, you meant WoA with the bug ridden mess. But I guess, you meant MindsEye. Just a misunderstanding on my part. All fine here.

WoA and I never encountered a bug, that made the game unplayable for me. I never encountered any bugs that bothered me at all in the game. But maybe I’m just the lucky one?

Well, the “unplayable” part is an exaggeration, but it is certainly big-ridden.

Maybe, but as long as the bugs don’t bother me, I really don’t care. I know, there are players that see that different, but I just want to have fun with the game and at this moment I have fun with the game and I don’t see any bugs, that are worth mentioning for my part. As long as that is the case, I don’t have anything to complain about.

But I guess, everyone has his own tolerance limits with those things. Maybe comparable to CGI in movies: I just hate bad or even mediocre CGI. For me, it is the most unbearable shit that industry ever put on screens and I just can’t overlook it. But others just don’t care and enjoy the movie for what it is.

According to this post on reddit, the Hitman crossover has been pushed back.

We apologise that the release of the Hitman x MindsEye Mission, originally scheduled for July, has been postponed to a later date. We look forward to delivering this exciting crossover when the time is right and will provide further updates as soon as we’re able.

Seems a bit dumb to announce it right at the end of the month though…

I don’t think any change to the game will bring it up to a significant number of players.

As far I can tell, Cyberpunk 2077’s 24-hour peak never dropped below 15k before the 2.0 Update. The current peak of 50 for Mindseye is catastrophic.
