Good… good…
@Combatglue Is there any point in players submitting bug reports through Zendesk?
6-12 months ago, I submitted 17 different bug reports through Zendesk with links to unlisted YouTube videos showing the bugs. I intentionally kept the written messages a bit vague to make watching the videos a requirement to understand exactly what the bugs were. These links were not shared anywhere else.
To this day, all 17 videos remain at 0 views.
I agree with you.
Almost all of the bugs that I previously reported on ioisupport.zendesk.com have still not been fixed, only to receive a reply email saying that I will report it to the development team, and nothing has changed since then.
However, several of those that I have since reported in the bug report thread on the HITMAN forum have been fixed.
In other words, zendesk is not working. That’s what I think.
Zendesk is working because the tickets are being replied to and “being passed onto the team”. But is seemingly going nowhere after that and literally no one looks at it.
I also did a massive bug reporting spree with probably 50 bugs in a report and also linked a video. Yeah the same thing happened to me. @Combatglue
The only time I’ve used zendesk is when I died due to The Splitter bug and they essentially answered with a “that’s so bad, but we can’t do anything about it”, of course a couple of days later they did something about it. There seems to be a disconnect between the people that answers those tickets and the bug fix team, which leads to answering with copy-pasted emails or straight up wrong information like a bug not being worked on when in reality that bug was being worked on.
When I had an issue with Twitch unlocks I DM’d Hitman on Twitter. That seemed way more efficient than using the helpdesk
I’ve submitted various bugs which are present in Freelancer in the hope to try push for them to be fixed. Around 18 months ago, I submitted a ticket for the soundless Dubai helicopter and unfortunately to this day, it’s still a soundless helicopter
I’ll report in the bug thread again

it’s a bit frustrating that there’s no consistency with communication. like surely if i was running a company i’d tell my community manager to spend some amount of time a day on each prong of our company’s social media presence
This is the classic SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) problem.
Everyone is directed to use ZenDesk, so everyone uses ZenDesk.
Consequently, Hitman becomes a victim of its own success and the vast majority of ZenDesk tickets are complete garbage written by knuckle-dragging morons and it becomes a challenge just to triage the tickets and figure out what has value Vs. complete nonsense written by barely-literate troglodytes.
It doesn’t remotely surprise me that this forum is the place to go to get something addressed, because we as a community will take care of shooting down the dumb stuff.
Hey,
could you shot over the ticket number?
I will look into this.
The helpdesk should be the way to go. I believe I was the one that answered on socials, and it might been that the problem you had I knew how to solve and thats why I did not ask you to make a ticket.
@BlossomFox, can you dm me the ticket number?
And @Grim47 sorry you are feeling this way, will try to spend more time here.
Bad timing with easter and me having a few more days of from tomorrow.
@Combatglue IOI needs to provide access to the DLC weapons they added to Freelancer after delisting the pack. IF they were in Freelancer to begin with, some of us would’ve bought the pack day one. I don’t care about the target dude. Replace him with an NPC or release a new pack of just the new Freelancer weapons wall as a set.
Second, you need to eventually provide a DLC pack with all the Twitch drops for those of us diehard fans who think Twitch is BS and want a complete set. This advertising BS screws over the OG fans who want nothing to do with Twitch, as if we haven’t spent enough money on the past 3 games to begin with.
Third, the servers. After all these years, it can’t even auto retry a few times before popping an annoying dialog in the middle of my game…in Freelancer no less, where screwing up can cost you big. The Bond game better not do this!!!
tbf a problem i have is the DLC weapons are on the wall right? some of them are consumables, therefore they should be considered tools and not weapons
@Combatglue a friend of mine owns Hitman WoA Part One on Xbox and couldn’t access the Undying, but he also couldnt purchase the Part One upgrade pack. He previously got H1 and H2 via Xbox Live Gold or Gamepass years back but had only managed to redeem H1 levels in H3/WoA. I think there’s three issues here, that should be fixed:
One is that the redemption of Hitman 1&2 levels should be reimplemented for owners of those games, as when WoA came out they made it so the H3 game would stop detecting and giving free access to the levels in WoA for owners of the legacy versions. However, progress carryover and the IOI account still exist to detect that you own prior games and DLCs, so why not let them redeem the levels that way?
Two is that there’s something funky going on with the Xbox store that is making them think he can’t purchase the Part One upgrade for some reason. Maybe it still detects that he SHOULD own the Part Two content and it won’t let him? Idk, you’d have to establish more communication with him yourself but he doesnt have an account here
Three is that there is an oversight with Part One owners, where you have made it so that Part One owners DON’T get the permissions to do with the Free Starter Pack: so now Dubai escalation, no ET rotation, etc. Which isn’t how it’s supposed to be as the Free Starter Pack is for everyone, and from my experience there’s no way to undo the fact that the game detects ownership of any non-Starter Pack content because even deleting the DLC in your hard drive the game’s servers detect that you have it. So there’s no way to access this content without purchasing, which my literally can’t do right now unless he goes and buys a physical copy or a marked-up bundle which would lead to him rebuying content
I hope you see and read this, because you haven’t posted in almost three weeks
Hey Grim47,
Can you ask him to make a ticket on our customer support so we can get direct contact with him?
Even if he just copy paste your post etc, and you can just ping me his ticket number and I can escalate it internally asap.
And we can work on it from there.
kind regards
Samir
That can be relatively problematic, because there is one of your support services that never worked. I can’t remember which one.
