Is this a bug or some thing?

Hmm. I found this bug in Santa Fortuna, an area with highest bright, even i restart mission or restart game, it still be there, or become a bigger area. I tried to verify game on steam and nothing changed. Hope you fix it. Thanks. Every time i play this map, this bug does not end. I recorded a video, check this out.

My pc: Window 10, i7-8750H, gtx 1050ti with 16gb ram.

This extremely light area time to time also appears in the tunnels near the bridge.

The other day I stumbled on this:

Wow. yeah look like my bug. In another time, i saw a really really big area with high bright like this, only in Santa Fortuna right? Walk in and feel so bad.

Playing Ghost mode over the weekend and kept seeing things like this…

And this…

Killed him and he is stuck like this :joy:

I’ll advise you to roll back to previous graphics card driver (I assume you have latest 436.48).
I never had this with a previous driver. Even after latest game update.
So I bet this bug is sewn up in latest Nvidia driver

Yeah same.

Rollback to the last stable driver with Hitman 2, depending on your hardware, 430.86 for Turing GPUs and 436.30 for Pascal GPUs :

430.86 -> OK (may 2019)
431.60 -> OK (but cursor glitch)
436.02 -> Broken with Hitman 2 / SOTR for Turing GPUs and DX12
436.15 -> Broken with Hitman 2 / SOTR for Turing GPUs and DX12
436.30 -> Broken with Hitman 2 / SOTR for Turing GPUs and DX12
436.48 -> Broken with Hitman 2 / SOTR for Turing GPUs and DX12
436.51 -> (latest hotfix) Seems fine but need testing.

A guy on SOTR steam forum tells me yesterday that, like Hitman 2, SOTR has some 0x80000003 crashes too with the exact same error message in WEV since august 2019. And 436.48 introduces this lighting bug.

SOTR = Shadow Of The Tomb Raider
