Finally, to celebrate the recent reveal of 007 First Light, players who play The Banker Elusive Target or The Monarchique Arcade contract, and who have signed up for an IOI Account will receive an exclusive Casino Suit to redeem in 007 First Light, IO Interactive’s immersive third-person action-adventure featuring an all-new, original James Bond story, scheduled to launch in 2026.
(This will be visible on your IOI Account profile at a later stage)
So it seems that even when they stop supporting the game and never run The Banker ET again it will still be possible to unlock the Casino Suit by purchasing the ET Arcade pack and playing it which is a nice way to future proof the content.
At that point it would essentially be a DLC that also includes an item for a different game. Has that ever been done before in gaming?

By the way, the Banker Suit (the same one as the First Light unlock, the all black tuxedo) is the unlock for playing the ET itself.

The first step of the mission story requires you to get an invite to the game in the former auction room, Smith is one of the options to get a card from. If you talk to him, he says he’ll give you the invite - if you kill this other person.

Does it invalidate Silent Assassin rank?
I didn’t do it, but I assume not. As an objective appears so the game would likely consider them a full target.

Be warned! This is one of those missions where the target can “escape,” leaving the mission and failing it for you, our otherwise intrepid assassin.

Stopped watching the preview midway since I didn’t wanna spoil too much, but this is really neat and unexpected! Love how they gave Paris a make over for this. Given that The Showstopper is the swankiest/most Bond-esque level, it makes sense that they’d put a 007 target there. Looking forward to playing this. One could say that the effort that they’re putting into these Elusive Targets lately is…mad.

It does not.
Killing the optional target also gives you full access to the entire Palace grounds in your suit (except for the basement, that’s a hostile area), but I’m not sure what the reasoning for this is.
