I’ve just looked through the mission files and there is only the 10 million and the 5 million, both from the safe
That’s OK; the Gunrunner is a contract in Freelancer and that’s already been a thing. Plus, Marco Abiatti was The Politician, and then, well…
Ugh, why the driving gloves, though.
I appreciate the maintenance of the canon.
If Smith rescues you he mentions how you rescued him in Honk-Kong, Romania, St Petersburg, Hokkaido…
But not Ambrose. Because Ambrose is canonically the last ICA contract of 47.
And since the mission looks ICA sanctioned…
Fun fact: Agent Smith is using the Freelancer Assassin pistol.
Smith also acknowledge it, if you do his favour before he asks for it.
You can be the dealer.
And then stack the deck in others favour.
I would also like to report a crime:
This guard is wearing socks with sandals with a suit.
(the cut of this other guard suit 47 is currently wearing is funky too)
Must be german.
I have tried the three 100.000 chips from the Twitch drop. Unfortuntely, they don’t count towards your balance and you can’t gamble with them.
Since this mission takes place after the events of Hitman 2016, we now get confirmation that The Revolutionary mission was also after the first game since General Vicente Murillo is alive in this.
Then this mission, or The Revolutionary, aren’t canon, because there’s no place for the Revolutionary mission to take place during the events of the trilogy, but it’s an ICA sanctioned hit, so the only way both of them can be canon is if The Revolutionary mission takes place at some point several years after H3 and Diana really has established a new ICA. Otherwise, we have to write one of the two off, and considering The Banker uses a character that canonically died in another franchise, I’m leaning more toward that one, even though it’s the better mission.
Although, it could also be that Murillo had a body double who has decided to take over so that no one knows the real one is dead. Wouldn’t even be an issue for the client on that mission either, because the double likely wouldn’t know the details of having done business with them in the past, and so is not a threat at exposing their connection.
That doesn’t really mean much. In Hokkaido, Smith mentions 47 rescuing him from the Pinecone place in California, as if that were the last place he saw him, but it wasn’t. He met with 47 as he was leaving Las Vegas, and offered the contract for, and acted as the handler on, 47’s mission to assassinate Vice-President Daniel Morris. Smith not mentioning certain events is not really indicative of anything.
As usual, took my time, checked everything out, got up to the game after about half an hour, right in time for LeChiffre to win and leaving for the helicopter. Not sure, what to do, followed him and his bodyguards and had to drop a chandelier on his head.
Mission accomplished, but still everything left to do, since I did not one thing, that follows the story. This is a fun one.
I did my first run-through blind in one go. Slipped rat poison into his eye medication, stabbed him with a pair of scissors in the bathroom. 4 stars, I had to kill a few guards on my escape. Now onto the ET arcade.
I’m gonna assume they didn’t put time/energy into this, but is there a chance of blowing up the chopper when LeChiffre attempts to escape/leave?
From what I’ve seen in Balatro this is perfectly normal, aside from the lack of a dozen jokers on the table
Excellent mission
Le Chiffre
10:00 exactly not bad SA / SO
First I went below staircase where novikoff would normally begin and takeout camera and no security guards in basement. Easy to remove cameras
If you play poker against Rangon brother put your bet on Red 5
Then once up with Le Chriffre throw the durian on the floor just beside him. He gets sick and goes into Margolis bathroom. The generals guards will follow him but not in bathroom. Doors are closed but you see them right at it using instinct.
You will have to enter the attic and climb over to the bathroom for easy drown. I immediately ran into the closet thinking the doors would open after drown but na I then climbed back over and took the main exit where I started.
Hey, when exactly does Smith say this? I think I may have worked out a potential canon timeline, but I need to hear for myself what he says, and my interaction with him did not yield this dialogue.
Allow yourself to be poisoned by the target, don’t use the antidote, and talk to the guard. (The last one may not be needed.)
First, complete the quest with Smith, then make the target poison you and wait for the timer to run out.
Then you’ll pass out and be taken to the basement, where Smith will later knock out the guard and say this phrase.
I’m gonna play this mission tonight. Really eager to see what IO has come up with now.
Has anyone bought the €4,99 DLC pack yet? If so, are the unlocks worth it?
He’s back again? Oh, this mission just got better haha
I mean the new pistol is cool if you want a reskin that looks different.
