Here we go:

Haha, that’s what I thought at first. But in normal gameplay, I just get disconnected randomly. But this disconnect has the special notice “Service is down for maintenance” that I don’t usually see.

Yeah, I wasn’t paying attention to the time. It’s almost 5:30 AM where I am and I’m playing video games… I don’t have the healthiest sense of time.

At least I wasn’t playing an Elusive Target and had the servers go down.

I’m really tempted to do that. But will the servers let me back in if I haven’t updated the game with today’s patch?

Hey these patch notes are pretty good. Interaction text change is great. Great to have Reqiuem back. Love that we’re getting an ET in Dartmoor. Kinda disappointed Berlin Egg Hunt is an escalations as that means there’s no excuse for it to be temporary. Still haven’t fixed Kilmer and Sieker bugs, but I’ll check to see if the Haven see through walls big is fixed or no. Just had a quick skim.

Edit: no, BUT they have said they’ve almost fixed the puke bug. Good stuff.

So far, the Berlin Egg Hunt is the only escalation that is time-sensitive, right?

Shoulder Camera
Removing the option to change which of Agent 47’s shoulders that the game camera is located behind was intentional. This is now only possible when in combat. We’re aware of player feedback on this choice and we’ll share any updates here. This isn’t just a toggle that we can add back in, so it can’t be changed quickly.

I’m glad they’re still talking about this. A change I really want back

I just love it, when they make little jokes like that:

Repetitive Repetition
We identified an issue where Carl Ingram would often repeat a line of dialogue when using the dictaphone, so we’ve resolved the issue where Carl Ingram would often repeat a line of dialogue when using the dictaphone.

Oh, another great one!

Grape Box
We’ve (apparently) resolved an issue that could cause 47 to get stuck inside a grape box in Mendoza.
(Editor’s Note: Sometimes I wonder if our developers just make up some of these ‘fixes’ to see if they can get them in the patch notes…)

Backlog: NPCs Ignore Toilets
We’re aware of a long-standing legacy issue where NPCs that are affected by emetic poison would prefer to use a bin/trash can rather than the toilet to throw up. We’re close to a resolution for this issue that will mean that affected NPCs will use the more logical and “challenge-completion-friendly” option more often. Stay tuned for updates.

haha… finally. been waiting since H2 for this one

Just because IOI is talking about a “bug”, doesn’t really mean anything.

I mean, 5 years after the start of the WoA trilogy, they’re still talking about this:

I especially like this bit. I’d presume they’re talking about stuff like Roulette and considering how hard drowning kills can be things such as within that

So you’d rather they be silent on it and not address anyone’s concerns about it? Talking about it >> silence

Nah, it’s not 5 years. It’s been only about 2 years this bug appeared.
Bit of a fast, I would say

Feelsbadman. Another month with no VR support for contracts mode

I’d like to think that if adding a toggle for shoulder swapping is too tricky to do, they’ll hopefully opt for just forcing it back on as opposed to leaving it as-is.

I could’ve sworn that NPCs preferred trash bins over toilets ever since HITMAN launched in 2016. Maybe it’s just more noticeable now since we didn’t used to have the plethora of “emetic them anywhere” devices we do now?

Did anyone read anything about the estate wines challenge

I never noticed that before to be honest.
I used emetic quite often till the infamous bug swam out more distinctively

Mendoza Contracts
We’ve fixed an issue where Contracts created on Mendoza would sometimes fail to load, depending on when they were created.

So, now all Mendoza contracts would work, according to this, or I misunderstood it?

Yes, that’s what I understand

Leaderboards
We’ve resolved an issue that could cause players to see erratic leaderboard positions after completing a mission.

Is this the leaderboard positions display bug that was introduced in 2018 (in HITMAN 1) and unresolved since ? If that’s what I think, then that’s cool.

HITMAN 3 Elusive Target

The countdown for the first HITMAN 3 Elusive Target starts with the release of the March Patch. You’ll see a ticking clock in the menu counting down to April 9th, when The Collector will arrive in Dartmoor for 10 days.

THAT is Taneleer Tivan, also known as The Collector. One of the Elders of the Universe, holder of one of the Infinity Stones, and friend of Howard the Duck. Quite the résumé.
