[MOD] Chongqing Noodle Massacre

Exactly what I wanted to see. A good showcase of personal gameplay tricks mixed with utilisation of the level design. Thanks @BernardoOne ! :slight_smile:

From what I can see a lot of work. And refined. I double my congratulations to everyone involved.
The revamping and use of the apartment building is a welcome sight. A very interesting one. This area was underutilised, and I always wanted to see it shine. Makes me wish to have a PC.

Special mention to the laundromat.
The designed problem/solution of distracting the enforcer with a fuse box to access the key and then the cook disguise is great.
That’s the kind of design that I particularly like.

I think the Background remind too much Mumbai if they could change it to more something like (or something else with chinese action tone) it was better

Okay when 47 left the restaurant at around 7:00 I noticed something: No guards at the entrance of the backyard. Seems like a glaring oversight security oversight. :sweat smile: Maybe adding another frisk point with two cops in future patch? And perhaps another cop patrolling the courtyard?

There’s actually guards right there, they’re slightly to the right of the door! If you pause at 7 minutes you can see one of them!

You could place the hypothetical frisk duo at the gate leading into the courtyard. Same spot as the Street Guards in the main mission. That way you can still sneak into the courtyard by jumping down from the walkway behind the building.

I just want to congratulate to @Kevin_Rudd and the other modders for this outstanding work. Everything it’s well designed, and especially, everything makes a good homage to the original C47 and Contracts missions. Even the feeling it’s absolutely the same to the original games.

I won’t even bother for further updates and official content for this game, nothing would be at this outstanding level. Congratulation mates!

It’s a damn shame I’m on Ps4, I would booth the game only for this gem.

You can see the guard behaviour in this video. There’s frisk guards at the door and they stay there, and two patroling ones, one patrolling above and the other one entering the alleyway!

They don’t patrol perse, but one (we’ll call him ‘Tag-a-long’) will follow the other if he goes somewhere or is distracted. If (Tag-a-Long) moves the other won’t.

I thought the Block will be with more npc or any something intresting but i think maybe its ok for this mission because its small mission .

If you have Offline/Modded Mission Pack then update to new version I put up. I accidentally used a file for both mods causing the error. But either way you cannot choose another start location

UPDATE: Just a warning to people that when there is an update to this mod I’m going to tweak Blue Lotus’ route slightly so arrives at restaurant a little earlier like in Contracts, and also doesn’t stand in an electrifiable puddle (I did most of my work during daytime version, didn’t realise in night time he stands right in a puddle :sweat_smile:). This may invalidate some of the SA speedruns seen but… deal with it :sunglasses:

Also, it’s not supposed to say “Fake Necklace”, that’s a Peacock issue, that will apparently be fixed in Peacock version 5, or alternatively you can look up how to delete your ‘dynamic resources’ file for the game
