The passenger train has arrived ! Finally the type of map we should have got when players said they wanted Hitman on a train level. You could already experience the map in Freelancer Variations, but now it has its own bonus mission for you to enjoy. While the majority of crashes are now gone and it is out of beta, still make note of the list of known bugs below.
Welcome to Romania, you’ve been hired to deal with a bit of corporate espionage between two large Eurasian transit companies. The client’s rival, Milford Industries, has struck a deal with a corrupt Interpol agent to hand over all the evidence on Milford’s dodgy dealings in exchange for a large payment. The client needs that evidence, and Milford’s corporate fixer to be dealt with.
Objectives:
Eliminate the buyer, or leave them in one of the containers marked “X” for the client’s team to capture when the train arrives
Retrieve the Interpol agent’s USB drive
What’s special about this mission?
It’s on the mother-licking train!
Which has been turned into a passenger train, with new spawns and agency pickups
The time of day is randomised (Day or night)
The Interpol Agent and objective location is randomised
The target is randomised
The target and agent’s route are randomised (If you can’t tell, I hate speedrunning)
You must use clue/s to figure out the target
There is a small unmarked mission story (Don’t get your hopes up too much)
Bugs (PLEASE READ, I WILL NOT RESPOND TO COMMENTS THAT MENTION ANYTHING HERE)
Any time an NPC has to walk through more than 16 doors in a single movement, the game will crash. This has been the primary cause of crashes since the mod’s launch; I’m hoping there are now almost no crashes since I’ve removed 20 doors from the train, but I’m leaving this warning here to let you know. Do report it to me if you get a crash because I don’t know if they’ve been eliminated or not
There may be a small chance the target will immediately act like you’re not there and walk away when you begin the ‘mission story’ despite you being right in front of them. I hope I’ve fixed this one, you may comment if it’s still occurring.
Puffy jacket guards can be immune to darts, this is because the jackets are thick so you need to hit their head
It shouldn’t happen but there’s a chance the game will crash after the mission story if you allow the target to storm off, you can comment if this happens to you.
Small bugs: You do not start blending in on Passenger Seats or Bar spawn, you can poison a particular passenger’s meal while they’re in the middle of eating it, a male target will occasionally mention Novikov during the mission story

The target is only dressing as a staff member for the exchange, their target picture does not represent what they’ll be wearing in-mission
The seller will have a cabin to themselves always… there’s only a small amount of cabins like that
2/6 of each seller’s acts will reveal them. Wait to see who shows up in the cabin, or keep an ear out for someone stressing
The mission story is unmarked, but the target is there for an exchange with an Interpol agent…

Incredible work as always!! I’m on console so I don’t think I’m able to play this. Is there any chance people will be posting videos of the mod mission on YouTube?
Had to take a look, and it’s very nice to say the least. It’s also pretty challenging, especially if you rip the guard disguise right off the bat; lotta enforcers in small spaces.
The time of day change definitely sells it, like the Patient Zero maps something that simple can make it feel totally different.
I shall watch this mod development with great interest!
Currently working with another skilled modder to make the mission a more polished experience (No crash fixes sadly) particularly for Peacock users. No ETA yet but hoping by the end of this coming week. On the lookout for someone to do Chinese translations if they’d be so kind.
I rarely play the game anymore unless there’s new content, but this was a really refreshing mission. Looking in different compartments for the target was fun, even though I had trouble finding them. I also really liked how some of it is RNG-based, with much room for replayability. The environments were also really immersive. Loved this!
The upcoming update will put in a system to make spotting the target a little easier
EDIT: Just watched your playthrough, I tried to get the targets to follow you more closely but clearly I failed, he definitely should’ve followed you into the cabin when you first tried
Might see if there’s anything else I can do to make him come closer to you
Aaaand okay I’ll get rid of the back of train camera, it is in a tough spot. Though it looks like you missed a spot to climb onto roof from the window
@AnthonyFuller has semi-officially joined the ‘post-launch’ team. I’ve partially rushed out this update because I’m a bit lazy and impatient, so some stuff won’t be translated (I AM TAKING TRANSLATOR VOLUNTEERS), and there’s a chance the new target scanning system will glitch if you lose sight of the NPC in the middle of it.
If a community player can do this all with this game, adding more maps for freelancer, the train, even sniper missions to be playable as 47 on his feet, why can’t, sorry, i mean why hasn’t IOI done this already?
It’s a tragedy that this game has lost so much potential.
