Alright, i know it’s likely not going to be implemented in this game because maps would have to be rearranged for elimination opportunities, but you know those bug lights we have in Haven, Bangkok etc… i wish they were implemented as to be able to be shot and fall down like a chandelier but not kill the target, or perhaps knock them down at most but even if it did nothing, it would certainly do something if somehow some water was sitting just below
Well…
There are already at least a couple lights like that. One along the path of Crest as he heads down to the beach. It’s near a blue barrel that you can stab with a screwdriver or shoot from within the nearby hiding area.
Also, Akka has one that is over an oil barrel next to the area where you can craft remote explosives. Edit: See Floople’s post/screenshot above.
Yeah… the one I screenshotted…
Ok well yeah sure, but thats just 2 lights in 1 single level.
I think it would be a neat idea for the next Hitman game if it was implemented throughout all maps.
I would think only if it’s appropriate. Like in a more rustic scenario (like in the Andaman Sea). You wouldn’t likely see such lights in places like Paris or Miami. Definitely in Santa Fortuna (if they had a night version), the back area of the Himmapan Hotel, maybe in The Source, Colorado (again, in a night version)…
There are other things that have been introduced in new maps that could’ve been put into previous maps. Stethoscope and measuring tape garrote items to Whittleton Creek, batteries to Colorado and Sapienza, fishing line garrote also to Sapi… Just things that would make sense. Those are only a few of the potential items that could be added to old(er) missions.
If all that is too late to put in then yeah. The next Hitman game.
