At first I thought about a scientist (splitting atoms, which would be fitting in Chongqing) but then I thought about it a bit more and there could be a “split” that would be connected to the WOA storyline: some ex-member of the Class. So it could be a musician as well.
(Kinda hoping it’s actually Yusuf Dikeç though.)

Yeah, that’s where my mind is going. Seems fitting (and makes the title seem less ridiculous than other interpretations here IMO haha)
But honestly, who can really know. Could be literal or metaphorical.
Sean Bean’s was a meta joke about his acting career that also made its way into the character’s lore.
Gary Busey was about… the real-life person being kinda crazy?
Dmitri Vegas was a pun on DJ tracks.
And Conor McGregor was about, uh… his character in-game “disrupting” the rules of MMA by doing a random even with a tech billionaire on a secluded island? IDK if there’s a real-life connection there…
Van Damme being known for Splits would be a good hint, but I doubt anyone actually calls him “The Splitter!” as a nickname or contract code-name
Heck, hearing Diana call him that “because of his extraordinary ability to perform splits across the globe” would be borderline comical lmao
If it’s Chongqing, and they might tie it into the level’s existing themes on human experimentation, I’m betting it’s someone splitting the human genome into other stuff. Something shady. But IDK how that’d be related to a celeb lol

Maybe it’s secretly a follow-up to the Disruptor because the fandom is split on that ending scene.
Or who know, maybe the target just like banana and ice cream.

Could be experiments on the mind… Splitting the personality to activate victims (or patsies) to commit crimes. Similar to MK Ultra (I believe).

I’m going to say it will be Glen Powell. I believe the silhouette fits, and the movie title ‘Hit Man’ is split compared to the title of this series ‘Hitman’.
As for the splitting of personalities to make unwilling patsies seems to be the most sinister of the speculated crimes we’ve thought of. Hey, they could even have Adria Arjona as his assistant who might be carrying something for an alternative objective. 
But that might be a stretch and too much for the budget to have 2 celebrities… and they would’ve had a double silhouette… Unless that’d be too much of a giveaway.

Even Mumbai, New York and Maldive haven’t any ET. I hope, then, in the cut missions “The brothers” and “Methlab”, in the ET The Wildcard, in all the ETs becoming permanent.
And I still hope the photographer serial killer of the first trailer (Maldive or Hawke Bay could be the right locations)

I think the target might be a celebrity who plays a serial killer with split personality and then send to Hush’s place for research. After all, we saw a lot of researchers in Chongqing.Or maybe send the target to ICA.

I feel like we need to start investigating major events happening in the December-Jan. range and see if there’s any celebrities that are tied to it. Possibly for promotion.
I just found out Eddie Redmayne stars as an Assassin being hunted in a show coming out mid-November, so that’s cool (and would be neatly thematic for Hitman)
Probably not him though. Too early of a premiere, and he usually has hair that sticks-up.

I think Netflix’s Karate spinoff is having another/final season coming out early next year so I’m guessing that would line-up with a Star Cameo promo…
I don’t totally know but I’ve never seen the show though
And “Splitter” would line up, in a decent way, to splitting things with your bare hands.
