p0 presented one of the best gameplay mechanics; yes, the map is small; it is easy to stop the virus; but this creative gameplay mechanic should be in the final; and it is being eliminated, but England, which has nothing positive but secrets, remains with 26 votes. It is a strange time.

I thought you liked secrets and mysteries?

Everybody has his/her own opinion. You have your own feelings about the different missions of this contest. I do respect your choices, even though I don’t agree with them.
A lot of factors have to be considered (gameplay, plot, mechanics, difficulty…). Moroever, nostalgia can skewed our vision. Each player has his/her preferences and it is like that.

Dartmoor is like Berlin in that it doesn’t feel like any other stage. It feels like a murder mystery mansion. It’s good at what it does, but lacks the variety of Berlin.

Patient Zero is basically Hokkaido with one starting point and a gimmick that’s interesting the first time.

I like the mystery a lot, but it has nothing else to offer. No difficult challenges, no complicated paths, no creative opportunities, no exciting events; just mystery and mystery, an environment full of mystery with no other positives (of course the music is very beautiful). If an environment only offers mystery, it will become repetitive and boring after a while. Something that sgail Island took care of and added excitement, events, and complicated paths to the map in addition to the mystery.

Exactly; you’re right. I always talk about map design, mechanics, and gameplay, but the most important factor is the atmosphere. France, with all its flaws, is a space created as a fashion (although it is also imperfect) and people love it for that reason. England also has an atmosphere of nostalgia; death; dark; depressed, and…; but I have no problem with these spaces. Like Colombia, Colombia is amazing in gameplay and especially the environment. And it has the same atmosphere; but England…

You make a good point actually. I do mostly agree with that it’s not the most challenging (there is not even any CCTV to avoid for example), and the murder mystery is really the only thing it offers. I still like it quite a lot for the setting and there are some fun kills (the grave, the family photo) but it isn’t one I rush to replay that often.

Because the map is small, it’s only interesting for the first time; now imagine if this mechanism was implemented in Italy; and the Caruso virus was played in Italy; ughhhhhhh

I can no longer play this game. I have no mission to downvote.

Sorry, but I’m still in my rebellious phase. :slightly_smiling_face:

As for my reasoning behind not upvoting Rendezvous anymore, but downvoting Shogun Showdown:

But you made another enemy in the meantime! And after we voted similarly in previous rounds :frowning:

@The_Elite_Institute Look, I am partially sorry for your future loss, but I am not that petty to downvote someone’s favourite level only because they downvoted one of my favourites. If that were the case, I would have downvoted Shogun Showdown much sooner, but I didn’t. I started doing so only after seeing its descending trend which, in my opinion at least, would have lead to its inevitabile elimination. You may not see my actions the same way I do, but I genuinely consider this harmless pettiness.

Feel free to become my enemy, but the objective truth is that all I did was downvote one of your favourite levels just like you downvoted one of my favourites. Therefore, there is no reason to escalate an isolated conflict like this unless you really want to. I didn’t mean any harm to Shogun Showdown, which is actually a solid level in my opinion. I only wanted to express my pettiness through an already dying level.

I am sorry again if I came across in the wrong way. :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m only joking. I am mainly attacking Rotterdam because Yacob is focusing on Showdown just to seemingly punish for playing the game, but if you want to vote for it then by all means!

At the end of the day, I’d like to see as many H2SA levels as possible in the finale although I 100% know for sure none will get close to winning!

That’s exactly the way I feel towards Contracts.

Never say never though! This game is so unpredictable that surprises can always happen! As far as I remember, the first edition of this game was actually won by Invitation to a Party.
