Nobody really seems to be talking about picks. Hopefully this is over fast and we can move onto Blood Money!

Ok, here’s my opinion on this round…

All the Bonus Missions are the best in this category (obviously). The Patient Zero campaign follows behind them - except The Vector which I don’t care about. Holiday Hoarders can go through because I like all the Christmas decorations in Paris. I despise the fact that Dartmoor Garden Show is an Escalation - this ruins it for me, gameplay wise - but it can get a pass due to the higher-effort map changes it entails.

That’s 8 so far. 4 more places up for grabs…

The Sarajevo Six need to go because they’re glorified Elusive Targets. I didn’t mind having them for free in 2016 with my PS4 copy of the game - but I don’t much care for them. I’m willing to make an exception for The Controller, however, due to its somewhat special kill opportunity.

A Silver Tongue is rubbish, as I recall, and has no place in the next round (another glorified Elusive Target). A Bitter Pill, for some reason, I don’t feel the same way about - so I wouldn’t mind if it takes one of the few remaining spots out of this heat.

That leaves 2 remaining spaces to make up 12. It seems the Sniper Missions command a healthy degree of support in this contest so, whilst they’re not my favourite, I wouldn’t begrudge Himmelstein and Siberia staying in the competition. I’m happy for Hantu Port, as the current weak link of the Sniper maps, to serve as a scalp to satisfy the anti-Sniper Mission voters.

So, to summerise, I would prefer to see the following maps assassinated…

P0 - Colorado: The Vector
SA - Miami: A Silver Tongue
SM - Hantu Port: The Pen and the Sword
S6 - Paris: The Director

Personally I’d say Himmelstein is the weak one of the sniper maps. But even that is better than some of these other missions which offer little which their main mission counterparts don’t offer.

I was actually wondering how many newer players buy Hitman WoA and just miss out on the sniper content entirely? It’s not on the main screen, the sniper maps are not on the locations tab, and they aren’t on any of the campaign tabs. Personally I’d argue they should be considered the “Sniper Campaign” in the campaigns tab. They aren’t linked by story, but then neither are the Bonus Missions.

I should clarify that my “weak link” comment is meant purely in the sense that it currently has fewer points on the board compared to the other Sniper maps.

This is valid reasoning. If the tides change, I’m open to voting something else out instead. I wouldn’t mind too much if A Bitter Pill or The Controller were eliminated instead of Hantu. The latter is probably too strong.
