I remember watching the movie (the one with Kristy Swanson) but never the show.
I only knew her from EuroTrip. I liked to watch one particular scene over and over. IYKYK.

To be honest, this isn’t that surprising. He was fairly old and had retired from acting years ago. Lot of great movies on his resume! A little known, but excellent one, was BAT-21.

What is surprising is that his wife and dog were also found dead inside. The police are saying no foul play. So… I’m guessing one of them died, and the other decided to exit as well, and took the dog with them. Either that or one fuck of a coincidence happened there.

I just saw that. That is strange… Hackman, himself? Not surprising given his age but the wife and dog… now that’s just weird.

My initial guess - assuming this wasn’t some toxic chemical leak into their house that suffocated them all in their sleep or something - is that the wife probably died, Hackman figured fuck it because he’s 95 anyway and doesn’t want to go through more years without her, and so he gently sent the dog on its way and then checked out too. Of course, this is merely a hypothesis.
