Actually, speaking of, I just learned this on bluesky: the My Little Pony comics of all things ALSO had to make fun of him as well!

Anybody remember the epic tale of the Dilburrito?

Damn. I only know her from three roles, each as a mom: Home Alone, BeetleJuice, and Schitt’s Creek, as well as one episode on Whose Line Is It Anyway? That sucks, she was great in each one. There won’t be any proper Home Alone sequels and Schitt’s Creek is done, but while BeetleJuice might still have room for another sequel, they at least gave her character an out in the last one.

God DAMN it… this one really hurts. She was such a wonderful actor. :sob::sob:

I actually gasped.

I am sad.

Agree…this is an actor I’ve known of for as long as I can remember. I used to watch her on SCTV and I can’t even count the number of other things I loved her in. This is truly a shame.

Here’s the second of the latest set of three:

Unless I’m mistaken, he was the last remaining main actor from that show.

Did you know that Catherine O’Hara, much like Erich Soders, had Situs Inversus (for real)?

This one sucks. While not a top favorite of mine, they were one of the bands who helps me transition from exclusively country music in my childhood into rock music in my teens, and always had consistently enjoyable hits. Loser is my favorite song of theirs, with Kryptonite, Duck and Run, and Citizen Soldier being others I liked. RIP.

I was a bit too old for Dawson’s Creek, but he was funny as hell playing “himself” in Don’t Trust the B---- in Apartment 23.

Harold & Maude’s one of my favourite films. Despite some award nominations for it, he never really had a huge career, for whatever reason, but this landmark performance still holds up. Sad news.

Oh shit. So young. Fuck cancer.

Similarly, despite being the correct age, I didn’t grow up watching Dawson’s Creek — but I later enjoyed him poking fun of himself on Don’t Trust The B.

He was recently in the news because he was selling memorabilia to help pay for his treatments. Very tragic that he lost that battle.

Aw, damn. Didn’t know he was that old yet. We’ve lost one of the cinema greats of the latter half of the twentieth century.

You’re out, Tom.

Just watched Godfather 1 + 2 last week and wondered how he is doing. Impressive age though!

Godfather 2 for me, a couple weeks ago and wondered the same thing! This marks the third time I’ve watched someone and within a fortnight they’ve died. I gotta stop watching stuff

In before someone recommends I watch Home Alone 2 (you know why)

Too risky. Joe Pesci and Tim Curry were in that :face_without_mouth:
