Iām guessing itāll just be a briefing/launch video, since typically the CelebrETs go live on a Thursday - so this is probably going live on the 26th.
I donāt think they would be doing anything related to co-op this month, as that way two big things will be fighting each other to be the main conversation topic. I predict that theyāve got a quarter scheduled this year that wonāt have a CelebrET so that full WoA attention goes on co-op.

Feeling excited about this ET as we get closer to date! I donāt know whether this will truly be the last Celeb ET weāll get but I believe itās the last one that they announced or was that actually Eminem? When they announced the three upcoming Celeb ETs with their figures posed and we were guessing who they were?
The Patient Zero feature fascinates me, I do wish they would have done this on a different map than Dartmoor. I hope that if 47 gets infected, then we will be able to remedy ourselves similar to the last Patient Zero DLC mission and of course the Le Chiffre antidote, otherwise new players may potentially fail en masse.

Difficult for me to get excited for this one, even though I have every reason to, simply because itās gonna be releasing around the same time as the actual new Resident Evil game, and Iām more excited for that right now than small bits or new Hitman content. At least for now, thatās where Iām at.

Aleksander Kovak would make a perfect ET (ideally Special Assignment) on ALL of those missions, too! Heās the only target 47 canonically killed offscreen.
- New York: set at night with police sirens blaring outside, Kovak and a new crew have barricaded themselves inside the bank for a desperate heist, seeking to reclaim the $50 million coffer he lost when he was arrested in Panama.
- Haven Island: broken out of Panamanian custody, Kovak escapes to Haven to secure a new identity, like many other thieves and criminals. Tobias Rieper and Alfredo Bianchi being just two.
- Ambrose Island: Crest and Millsā men break Kovak out of Panamanian custody as āthe old proā to help plan for one last job. This is likely the botched Belgian heist that Mills would eventually take part in.
(Sorry if too off-topic, I got carried away by the MASSIVE opportunity IOI has with this guy and those maps).

Not confirmed. Vidal simply alluded to Kovak and Diana responded in the affirmative. Not only do their choice of words not indicate for certain that Kovak is dead (Vidal could merely be referring to the job on which Kovak was the client, which seems to have reached legendary status in the world of Hitman), but it also doesnāt necessarily mean that 47 was the one who carried it out. The comic and mobile sniping game confirm that Diana is also the handler of other, lesser agents, with 47 just being her primary agent. Diana might have sent someone else after Kovak, if he is in fact dead, if the contract didnāt meet with 47ās required difficulty level and payment amount.
In regards to Jovovich, Iām wondering if theyāre gonna allude to her movies by having her say some variation on the āyouāre all going to die down hereā quote that she and the Red Queen kept repeating throughout the movies. Or if 47 will get to say some variation on it to her.

Considering the context of the confirmation is confirmed kills by 47 (which is what Diana is saying yes or no to), that isnāt likely. And itād be a bit strange to mention a contractor in a list that is otherwise filled with targets. Even if Vidal doesnāt know he was the contractor, Dianaās confirmation probably shouldāve been clarified, but as-is, it sounds like he was an off-screen target.
The conversation starts with Vidal asking about 47 and Dianaās targets being absent from the files and Diana confirming hits that were scrubbed from them. Hereās the quote:
They are explicitly talking about hits 47 and Diana have carried out, not anyone else. Itās either a continuity snarl (which seems likely, thereās also a snarl relating to Vera San Martin, whom Grey killed before Nightcall, but is apparently alive and well still), or again, he was killed off-screen by 47 during H2ās events sometime between Miami and Mumbai.
The comic does no such thing, which makes sense given it was a prequel, not set in the modern day. The Marchand Hit was her first contract which lead to her finding 47. If anything, the games and lore material confirm she only takes contracts with 47 in tow because they work well as a team, which is seen as unusual by the ICA. Even in the mobile game, 47 is missing or MIA, and Knight, Stone, Soji etc. are essentially traineeās, not ICA agents on the same level as Jaguar or 47.
Relatedly, weāre never given much of a hint on his status. Thatās assuming that āThe Shadowsā mobile game is canonical to begin with.

We donāt even have any confirmation or even hints, prior to this conversation, that Kovak is even dead, or anything other than in the custody of the authorities. This is also the conversation where Diana says Blake Dexter was āa parallel universe,ā so the entire conversation something of a question mark, not in its purpose, and in what we are supposed to believe in regards to things said that we have no other confirmation of the status on.
Correct me if Iām wrong, but, wasnāt Diana the handler for the team pursuing the target that led to her finding out about 47?
Anyway, letās not derail this thread. We can continue this elsewhere if more needs to be said.

So looking like February 26th is the release date.
The Undying ends on the 25th, so that way all ETs have ended by the 26th so they can put the servers into maintenance mode on the 26th for this to go live.
