Possibility of bringing back The Wildcard

I doubt it, they should rework the mission storyline to make some map changes and additions.
If IOI doesn’t do this and brings back just the same ET blocked by a paywall, it could be just a lazy result like the Sean Bean one.
The thing that can probably happen is that they re-do a mission with only Gary Cole as a target.

That could be possible and doable :+1:

For the third instance, they could rework Busey as some kind of lookalike who took his place because he didn’t want to do it again/was “busy”

So Cole would be the prime target and we get to also neutralize/eliminate the Busey lookalike on the way

Interesting setup and mission nonetheless, would be a shame to remove it from the WoA

If you have Peacock, you can play it there.

No, I only have a parrot, but he doesn’t know anything about Wildcard, Hitman and videogames in general

…uh what.

I’m serious now. I don’t know Peacock. What is it? In Google I found a only tv platform

It’s a mod for the game, one of its features is being able to play any ETs whenever you want including the Wildcard.

Thank you. Unfortunately I play Hitman on PlayStation. I should buy it again for pc

LOL. I thought the exact same thing too. Maybe someone should inform NBC exec lawyers to sue for copyright infringement so they’ll finally alter the name and avoid confusion.

Well, looks like Wildcard is not coming back, even if IO had rights to it. Can’t imagine them having another abuser as their celebrity after Connor and JCVD.

JCVD was an abuser too? I thought the heat for picking him was for his political views?

Criminal charges for participating in human trafficking are currently filed against JCVD.

Oh then he’s innocent until proven guilty, but IO has such bad luck with its celebrity ETs and other collaborations on Hitman. They’re the kingmakers of controversy

Today, after almost 10 years, I replayed The Wildcard via Peacock.
Technically it’s nothing special, and the later Elusive Targets are better. But the dialogues are funny and I enjoyed it. I still hope that one day IOI will make The Wildcard officially replayable again, along with all the Elusive Targets.
