I haven’t received the In-fli-ental duck myself but I did for some reason end up with the Tracksuit Duck instead which wasn’t supposed to be released until end of next month

@ChiefThunderhorse Have you played the Bruce Lee Arcade mission recently which might have triggered it? Wonder if they’ve activated the wrong script for the wrong duck to be running right now.

Well look at that. Another spit in my face after constantly asking for free saving. Another mission that makes you watch and listen for 10+ minutes. Fail after that? Congratulations, have a nice and colorful “FUCK YOU!” card, just because we purposefully disabled a save system that has been in the game before simply for NO OTHER FUCKING REASON THAN WASTE YOUR TIME!
Sorry but I just can’t anymore! iO is making missions longer and longer with so much non-stuff to happen and still refuses to give us checkpoints, shortcuts or anything.
Is there anyone - ANYONE - really enjoying this and saying: “Hey, all the conversations and the walking and the sequences again because I misclicked, this makes the game so much better!"

EDIT: I know that missions can be “completed” earlier, but not if you want to see the full thing
EDIT EDIT: Okay, in this case, there actually is a one Checkpoint. Thank you for this! Nice to see even you realized this time it was just too much. I take it back for this one ET. My point still stands for all the other missions like 7DS love or Bruce Lee.

When they add a new challenge in the game, I like to do the full mission run with a SA rating to add an extra challenge/fun to it (when the challenge allows for it). So for the Initiate’s First Speedrun challenge, I ended up doing some thing quite convoluted that took many attempts to get it right - and then I see videos like this that show how easy it can be.

This was my first thought when doing thisncjallenge but didn’t have the patience to wait it out.
I don’t have the duck listed on the IOI Account Rewards and Bonuses page but I did open up the game and see it in my inventory.

@IOI_Artjoms do we know if there is any issues with the In-flu-ential duck showing up for some players? I know there is a few people who haven’t received it, despite completing the Elusive Target?
I know some have had it randomly pop up for them, but just wondering if there’s any updates on your end?

Okay, the Harbinger ET has me kinda excited for whatever other new content we get this year.
Clearly the dev team can still cook really hard on something, even if its a limited time ET, and even if most of the studio is probably working on 007.
The mission didn’t have much that was brand new mechanics, but it smartly blended together lots of things:
The target contagion from PZ, the unreleased Cure Gun from that unreleased mode, the “all guards respawn with gas masks” mechanic from Chongqing, an entire squad of NPCs dedicated to executing other NPCs (that was pretty freaking dark the first time I heard the gunshot and got the notification.) Plus not to mention the amount of new unique dialogue for minor NPCs, new exits, changed skybox weather, and post H3 details.

I don’t get why IO are even using the IO Account system as a requirement to unlock the ET ducks (since its just causing a headache for players at the moment since its just… not working). Why don’t they just attach them to an in-game challenge that is linked to both the ET and Arcade contract and they’re unlocked the “normal” way (the challenge can be disabled server-side once the qualifying period is over)?
The only reason to attach them to an IO Account is if the thing is “play this contract in HITMAN WoA, then get this unlock in 007: First Light” or vice versa like the suit in The Banker ET. This whole nonsense when the required action and the unlock is for the same game is quite unnecessary.

So they’re just going to keep pretending the delisted pack and the empty spaces on the Freelander wall don’t exist? The weapons are an easy fix. I don’t see why they wouldn’t at least release a new pack for those. I swear some of these goddamn devs don’t like money. It’s probably 20 minutes of work to associate the weapons with a new pack FFS. Piss on the celeb. Either leave out the target or replace them with an NPC. YOU chose the clown. Now fix the situation, since you insisted on delisting the pack.
