Or shove it in an agency pickup.
Yes I did mention that.
I was giving a SA / SO option
For SA
Biker, silent pistol, lock pick, fiber wire and emetic gas grenade stored in the agency pickup over pass.
Spawn in biker lounge, go up 1 floor shoot camera
Go up to over pass get gas and activate in briefcase.
Then go down other staircase to target floor. You will enter where you see the 2 bikers guarding the other door on the right
If you time it right going left and heading down the corridor, the target and his bodyguard you can use the gas device in briefcase and both targets get sick.
His bodyguard always goes down to the last level and to bathroom
Vegas stays on his level but uses a trash just follow him.
Use fiber wire and put in crate. If his bodyguard doesnât get sick get to that trash can before the bodyguard does. He stands a few feet away and will prevent anyone entering the small space.
And quickly fiber wire dump Vegas in crate , his guard will turnaround
But Iâve done it 3 x
1st his guard didnât get sick
Last 2 times he got sick and was beyond easy.
I did it 3x total for the main mission and both arcade missions
It took 3:11 total time
After playing it a second time and both times for arcade contracts
Biker, emetic gas waiting in the overpass agency pickup.
Hitting both target and his guard with the gas, I just fiber wire the target who pukes near the bar where the naked guy dances. His guard goes down stairs to bathroom.
3:07 total time
Does anyone know how I unlock the previous Twitch drop rewards? I missed them last time but It said they are back but I donât see them on Twitch?
I think theyâre bringing back some of the others, but itâll probably be on specific dates. Keep an eye out for them!
That is what I was hoping. No word yet though.
So, my thoughts on the Oil Canister since thatâs been the new hotness:
First of all, Iâd like it to be clear that I donât think it was inherently a mistake to make it into an unlock. It was a commonly requested item alongside the proximity micro taser, and now itâs incoming. However, Iâm pretty sure all of the community interest in the Oil Canister was for its fire accident mechanics. Fire accidents are fairly uncommon in the game, and the Oil Canister expands on them while having a couple of properties (large, illegal to pour,) that give it some semblance of balance to this end.
However, the drop-and-shoot explosive accident mechanics of the Oil Canister are a different story. Explosive accidents are lot more common as-is, to the extent that theyâve had to be reeled back in the past; with changes that removed the ubiquitous fire extinguisherâs ability to perform them and made them the exclusive domain of scarcely placed propane containers. If the Oil Canister can functionally emulate one of these propane containers and their easy explosive accidents while also being available at any Suit start or Agency Pickup, I think thatâs going to throw things off in an unpopular way.
Iâd suggest IOI reconsider what the Oil Canister should do when you drop and shoot it. It would probably be the most intuitive if it simply leaked oil since thatâs what other oil containers in the game do, but if thereâs some technical limitations barring that (it seems finicky about where it can be poured) or thatâs simply regarded as making fire accidents too similarly easy, then making it explode as an Explosive Device kill or even just making the canister bulletproof would be acceptable in my opinion.
The oil canister wouldnât be more op than the fart case and that has not been changed, so I donât see why the canister should be nerfed.
The text for the Surgical Procedure Challenge coming November 15 has been removed from this roadmapâs blog post. I guess theyâll be saving it for another roadmap in mid November?
I guess time will tell. Isnât the Chloroform Flask also still Freelancer exclusive?
As content for the Fall/Autumn roadmap goes up to 18th November, I think IOI could have possibly delayed the Surgical Procedure challenge to the Winter roadmap, or scrapped it entirely perhaps with it being removed from this roadmap?
In which world is the fart case more OP than the oil canister? Or the pre- nerf molotov or the ephone. That does not make any sense.
Well, itâs pretty much a solve-all. It gets the target to a usually isolated place for pretty much any kill you want, and other than walking it though a security checkpoint, you can take it pretty much any water without issue.
Hereâs my two cents on the whole Oil Canister thing: While I think itâs a very useful tool, I donât think the fact it can also be shot for an explosion makes it overpowered.
For one, it cannot be detonated by sparks/smokers like normal propane flasks. This means you canât just throw it on the ground where you know the target will be and go about your business on the map knowing theyâll eventually blow it up. This also means that if you want to detonate it remotely, you need to use an explosive device which runs the risk of getting an explosive device kill instead of the explosion accident kill and ruin Silent Assassin. Plus, using two of your three loadout slots for the sake of one kill is not worth it in the majority of cases.
For another, you needing to shoot it to more easily detonate it for the accident means you need to either take the time to place it and find a place where you can safely shoot it without being noticed, or take the time to get the target isolated. Both of which still require effort and donât make it an instant win.
I just find it funny how for ages the overwhelming consensus has been âwe want better unlocks that are unique, not a bunch of useless reskinsâ. How much complaining was going on over the Pinot Noir being an unlock last roadmap? And then they finally give us an item thatâs been highly requested since Freelancer launched, one of the most versatile items ever made in the trilogy, and then people start saying âno itâs too unique, make it less usefulâ.
And of course my biggest worry is that IO will take the complaints to heart and overcompensate, nerfing it to the point of near uselessness like the Molotov.
The chance of that is extremely low with a breaching charge. You can also remove the risk of losing SA for dropping the BC by putting the BC into the briefcase the oil canister came out of so you can legally drop it.
The explosive accident side of the canister has ways to have no risk whatsoever. Which makes it stupid.
Is it not possible to get âThe Purple Streak Suitâ, âThe Purple Streak Duckâ and âThe Purple Streak ICA Briefcaseâ as rewards for the Twitch drops that are being held this time?
If that is the case, I believe all items distributed in the past were available last time, so why are they gone this time?
Last time with the third Drop was the first time the previous ones were brought back. They werenât brought back for the second Drop.
I see, so you are saying that it may not be restored every time.
I would like to have the opportunity every time if possible, but I pray that there will be another redistribution of all items on TwitchDrop in the future.
The old twitch drops were listed on the roadmap but combatglue said it was in error, but that we might still get them again anyway, at some point.
Big thumbs up to this argument from me, and a big thumbs down to all the people once again arguing for any remotely interesting unlocks to be nerfed right out of the gate.
