Yeah sorry. That was a miscommunication amongst the team, where we just haven’t synced. We reposted on channels, where an edit was not possible and edited the posts where we could.
But yes: See it as the reward for owning 007 First Light - unrelated to pre-order or not.

I’ve obtained the Poker Face duck right now after playing the mission yesterday evening.
This time, it is quite faster than during the previous CelbrET mission to obtain these ducky rewards.

Most likely fine tuned the drop so there wouldn’t be hiccups this time.
I wonder if this year will be the final year of the CelebrET format (as in new CelebrETs being released). Once the remaining three are released this year, that will put them at 11 + 1 if their fix for The Disruptor includes a celebrity recasting. Then they’ll be able to run one a month in 2027 and beyond without having to spend any money producing the new content and can just let players come to the game being lured in by the CelebrET reruns, buy the DLC and take the easy profit.

Who exactly would be lured by a rerun, especially when there’s no advertising around it? If anyone wanted to buy the game for Eminem or Bruce Lee they’d have done so when these ETs came out :x
I think I make something wrong, I played the Arcade over and over again, after 72h I not receive the Poker Face Duck, but the Casino Suit is cool.
Why the name change from Dapper Duck to Poker Face Duck?

It is a better name considering it’s based on LeChiffre and him being really good at Poker, imo.

They’d just do quarterly roadmaps like they are now, and each month just features a different CelebrET rerun. Exactly the same as what they’re doing this year, just that the CelebrETs won’t be brand new anymore.
The reruns must still be drawing people in, otherwise they wouldn’t be doing them this year. The whole CelebrET schtick is to bring new players to the game. Giving us new content is just a bonus.

Well yeah. IO have been milking the WOA cash cow for years now, they always basically state it in their financial reports each year too. They’re always referencing how the high community engagement leads to them making as much money as they do.
In the nine months of April 1-December 31 last year, their latest (and recently released) financial report says they amassed 361,214,000 DKK in revenue which they attribute to being primarily driven by WoA’s live services (aka CelebrET DLC).

An article I saw on the HITMAN forum subreddit which mentions a conversation with IOI’s CEO in regards to the future of the HITMAN universe beyond World of Assassination. We’re a long way off from seeing 47 back in action in a brand new game, but given how much IOI are expanding, could it be possible that we can see 007’s sequel game (if the launch is successful enough to warrant a sequel) being developed at the same time as the next HITMAN iteration?
It looks like the first website I linked is just quoting details that another gaming website had in their interview with Hakan at the Game Business on YouTube.

and given that peacock users already had it, it only removed the sniper assembly animation for some reason 
and it was my favorite briefcase! they just ruin things, make more bugs on top of old bugs + game becomes laggier with every new update. hitman is the only thing i enjoy nowadays, thanks ioi!
