Sort of like the gun lure. That was never part of the plan, but even after learning of it, IO left it in, so it became part of the plan after the fact.
The best example of a glitch that became a feature (in my opinion) is Gandhi in Civilization being so prone to war. In the original version of the game the value for how peaceful he is was set so high that as soon as the player started improving the relationship, it flipped around to become extremely hostile and soon India was launching nukes at everyone. They later made it a feature of the game that Gandhi is simply a warmonger in the universe of Civilization.
I have no problem with this suit being OK in that area of Mendoza. Leave it as is.
Although it seems that “Nuclear Gandhi” was originally an urban legend, not a bug. It wasn’t until Civilization V that it was added into the game as an easter egg.
Well the legend is more interesting
Are they seriously not going to release a hot fix for the poison bug ?
They are just going to leave it like this until the next game update that will surely bring another game breaking bug ?
They want to do a hot fix:
Arti said on stream there will be a hotfix this week or next to fix the issues created in the patch and include fixes that didn’t make it to last week’s release.
Thats good. I haven’t really been keeping up to date lately.
I really hope they release it this week. As understanding as I try to be regarding releasing patches on several platforms - I’ve returned to the game after 5 years last week, and it immediately broke poison spots. I know I can complete missions in other ways in the meantime, but it just put such a bad taste in my mouth I haven’t fired up the game since. I honestly think next week is ridiculous.
All that being said, as frustrated as I am with this, Arti is an incredible community manager, and I wish other games had the open communication he provides.
Though, I still don’t have the duck yet…
And it is first time ever for me to wait for so long…
Hope it isn’t broken…
Honestly it seems pretty fast to me, and at least IOI is acknowledging the bugs and working at fixing them. Last year Stellaris had a really big update just before summer that left the game basically unplayable for 2 months before Paradox started rolling patches so at least we have it better (and personally it’s not like I absolutely have to play Hitman poisoning everyone before next week, I also have a million of other games I can play in the meantime).
(Is your avatar a Quagsire disguised as a Gengar or…?)
Fair enough. As far as live service goes, I mostly played warframe, and the team has hotfixes ready in hours, so it might just be that I have been spoiled previously!
Also, I just saved the game before a poisoning kill in a mission story before taking a trip, and came back to it being bugged, so it really put a pebble in my shoe.
It’s a cat smoking a cigarette disguised as Gengar!
If something is intended by the devs, then it literally is legit, what are you talking about?
So far personally I’ve only ran into this problem on the Isle of Sgail, I haven’t experienced it anywhere else.
Please don’t fix the Midnight Black Suit quirk.
As the guy who reported it, seconding. I just wanted to know if it was intended not for it to get fixed
Poison is legal again (provided you have the right disguise).
Hotfix update (Hitfix™) is live.
Looking at the number of things they fixed in this patch, this is the reason why many of these weren’t fixed within hours of being reported, as many on this very forum seemed to be demanding.
Did this update add a new stash location (confessional) to the Author (Sapienza)?
It’s actually been there for a while. I noticed it about a month ago. Had no clue there was a new one, nor when it was added.
