[Serious - TW: Sexual Assault] Conor McGregor (The Disruptor) verdict and presence in the game

I’m glad that The Disruptor is still in the library - removing it from people who already purchased it would’ve been really unfair. I honestly don’t care who McGreagor is in real life, because at the end of the day, it’s just a game.

But since, for those who don’t own him, he doesn’t appear in the library at all, I assume his thumbnail could simply remain in the proper place where he was originally released - instead of being moved all the way to the greyed-out end. Let’s not be childish. Placing him all the way at the end is simply ridiculous. Seriously, IOI?

But at the same time, releasing The Wizard as paid DLC at full price for people who already bought the exact same mission before is a low blow. This DLC should either be free for owners of The Disruptor, or at the very least we should get a major discount.
I like that they included an actual person in the trailer - that’s a cool touch. But at the same time, I don’t like the choice. If they removed McGregor, they could’ve replaced him with some other alternative fighter instead of a rapper lol.

Up until now, I bought every DLC the moment it released. This will be the first time I intentionally skip one. To me, this is just a scam - selling the same thing twice. Thankfully, the mission itself can still be played for free, so I can live without those extra Freelancers bonuses.

I’m also going to pass on the new The World Chmpionshop pack. The price is ridiculously high, and the items don’t fit the game’s thematic at all. Whether it’s an actual mission or just a simple skin pack, the price is the same. This is ridiculous.

I’m worried this is turning into a skin festival like Ubisoft Rainbow 6 Siege, where many of the cosmetics became intentionally comical. I was afraid IO Interactive would go in that direction, and unfortunately it’s happening.

This is the point where I have to say hard pass, because they’ve crossed the line of good taste for me.
