“The pact is done. The past… dead.” “You were always the best. Nobody ever came close.”
Thanks for the tremendous work you’ve put in all these years to not only make IOI and Hitman be as good as it can by being the champion of the fans and the inside guy, sharing in our ups and downs, but thank you also for building and nurturing such a special community of people that have a passion, humour and wit that will always have a place in my heart.
As you walk off into the sunset (or sunrise, whatever), you can do it with your head held high. Thank you!
Look closely. In the shadows, there is a community. In the forum, a post is made, a reply is posted, and a patch is created. A few words are written, and a game is enhanced. In Copenhagen, a dev highlight is filmed, emails a sent, and a studio gets its due, for a myriad of showcase. On twitch, a speed-run is perfected. A Kill Everyone run is posted on youtube, and an appreciation of game design is born. Read directly the newsfeed, join the dots. There is a world made to be yours, where content and communication collide with playing and following. Post by post, professional community manager shape an environment to enjoy.
Have a good one Travis.
You were a great community manager
This is how I see Travis and Clemens recently :
Those are fresh captures. This means that to the end @Travis_IOI did his job : he posted, and he made me immediately launch and replay the game. That’s professionalism.
You’ll be missed, Travis. I’ve imagined you and Clemens in a buddy cop show or movie. Clemens would be the comedic relief and you’d be the straight man. Thank You for everything you’ve done and could do for the Hitman community! Godspeed/Good Luck in whatever awaits you.
It’s disappointing to see you go but it’s also understandable, good luck in your life and thanks for all of what you’ve done for the Hitman community, until next time
The communication with the community was such an important part of the World of Assassination trilogy that made the past 8 years or so since the beginning of Season 1 such a fun and exciting time. You were clearly key in bringing that to fruition. Not to mention the work you did with IO up to that point too. I also really enjoyed reading the patch notes.
So thank you for everything, Travis. And good luck with whatever comes next.
Thank you for your dedication! You tried to do as much as possible for making the bridge between the developers and the community. Since my entry in Hitman 1 in mid-2018 (I was late to the Hitman party), I’ve followed every live (either in live or delayed because of my job), looking at the news we could expect for the following months.
Thanks for everything you’ve done! You can be proud and you’re part of Hitman history!
Wish you the best luck for the future!
Thank you for your cheer and hard word over the years. I wish you the best of luck in your continuing adventures and may way your future endeavours be joyous and bring prosperity.
Also A+ for original way to make sure everyone rereads every patch note…
Best Wishes for your new job, we would appreciate if you still be on this forum as a hitman fan like us.
It is both sad and happy moment as you are leaving IOI/Hitman but also happy for your new role
