As a total comics noob, I guess I walked right into that one, eh? With how long the art form’s been going on, I don’t doubt there’s been some really weird decisions in the name of “refreshing” an established IP.
I am aware of that. I just think in the films, that probably wouldn’t fly as much, if they’re trying to tell a grounded-ish, or emotional story. Any amount of “oh, they can always revive them later with X” takes away that emotional tension.
regardless… ehhhh I’m not touching those spoilers above me. Let’s maybe stop this here?
