For those that wanted to know…
On the beaver
The church did it so it could be eaten on Lent. Also this didn’t happen in the US like the other two, it happened in Quebec.
On the pizza
This was political, labelling anything that used more than two table spoons of tomato sauce as a vegetable dish allowed for frozen food pizzas to be more readily available under Obama era anti-obesity laws which would have prohibited the sale of pizza in cafeterias.
On the bees
This is because the California Fish and Game Commission doesn’t recognised bugs in its legislature. It does however recognise “invertebrates” under their broad section on fish and marine life so that is why the bee is labelled a fish.
