Oh. lol. No. They’re within close vicinity of each other. All, or most of these fast-food places are on ‘The Spur’, a main strip that runs through the town. So any of these signs can be read by anyone that’s at (whichever) establishment or just driving around. If the signs aren’t being read directly, there’s plenty of locals taking pics and posting to social media.

But yeah. They’re more or less reacting to each other, keeping it mostly between the McDonald’s and Dairy Queen. Other places might put something up, taking a jab at (usually) McDonald’s. There was at least one where McD’s took a jab at Sonic (Drive-In). They’ve been changing them about once a day.
