True, a miscarriage is hard on everybody even those that aren’t the parents but if I had to pick one person who would feel the loss the most it would be the person that had a living thing die inside of them. I don’t mean to say the father can’t feel bad since that is absolutely stupid but I am willing to bet the mother would feel the loss more intensely and more acutely than the father.

understandable. cause they’re the one closest to the child. so it’s a greater weight on them out of everyone. including you have to imagine all that work to have a child dealing with all the pregnancy pains and changing emotions. all for it to have been taken away from them leaving them with nothing.

I think it’s more to do with the father experiencing that loss as well as his concern over the health of the mother, so he’s got two things weighing on him at once. This could be the harder position, particularly if the mother wasn’t really that invested in the pregnancy, and assuming the father cares for the mother at all.
Yeah let’s not make “Who would feel worse after a miscarriage” some sort of competitive thing or a debate especially not on the Funny Thread.

But the strip shows the mother is clearly distraught so obviously that isn’t the case. Tim Buckley is just an idiot who said something without fully thinking it through.
