Is this the same Rockstar that created their own subscription service for one game? The same one that murdered RDRO because it wasnât a whale trap like their GTAO? The one that made GTAO its own separate game? The same Rockstar that removed half of their cars in their car based game to get people to sign up for their subscription service? The same Rockstar that released âExpanded and Enhanced Editionâ? The company responsible for publishing the âGTA Definitive Trilogyâ?

It is insane and to make matters worse I am pretty sure some of the cars added for The Chop Shop update are cars that will be used in GTAVI. So Rockstar might actually be stealth teasing their unfinished game in their current game.

Yeah, that one. But also the same Ubisoft that has trouble managing their own IPs. The same one that had Beyond Good and Evil 2 in development since 2007 and had several development restarts. The one that had Skull and Bones in development since 2013 which had same development issues. The same one that had announced a PoP: Sands of Time remake in 2020 which has been delayed multiple times. The same one that has milking their Assassinâs Creed IP dry that it became so stale, they had to do a soft gameplay reboot with Origins and it looks like thereâs already another one with Mirage. The same one that had troubled coming up with interesting ideas for their games that all future ones borrowed same gameplay elements from Assassinâs Creed 2 and Far Cry 3, popularizing the tower climbing / outpost liberation trope in open world / RPGs. The same one that would sends you emails as a reminder to play their games that you took a break from. The same one that made DLCs and recently actual games inaccessible to those that bought 'em. The same one that had internal troubles because of toxic leadership and sexual accusations, which they tried to sweep under a rug for years.
I could come with a few more but what would be the point? Yeah, that Ubisoft.

I wrote a whole rebuttal to this that went point by point but as much as I like arguing until I am blue in the face I just donât want it to be running interference for Ubisoft because they are shit and there is no mistaking that so I scrapped it and I just want my rebuttal to be this since I have no real interest in running interference for Ubisoft any more than necessary.
I am just pointing out that the criticisms the meme had were shallow and can be more than leveled at Rockstar especially the preorder bonuses. GTAV didnât even have a shitty poorly molded sculpture to go along with it and that is coming from a guy who has three of them plus some Batmen as well because WB are also fucking a dogshit company.
All major developers suck massive dick, some just suck more than others; Ubisoft suck more than Rockstar, Rockstar suck more than Tripwire and so on down the line until you reach the most unimpeachable of indie developers. You shouldnât make hiveminds around regurgitating stale, shallow and repetitive criticisms if you are prepared to level those same criticisms as fresh and valid points to be lobbied at a company you personally like in the event they finally commit the same misdoings and you certainly shouldnât ignore a companyâs poor behaviour because you like their products or because they are less culpable than a particular punching bag higher on the totem pole.
