We don’t, we simply have to hope Microsoft do their own version of the game.
Not that I blame the kid because I can imagine some of the characters already: Master Chief and Cortana, Commander Shepard, the Spirit Monk and the like.

You say in regards to Astro Bot which is filled with Sony franchises they failed to capitalise on. But yeah you could have Banjo and Kazooie. You could have Ori. MS own Double Fine so you probably could have Raz Aquatano as well.
