When you are the one bard in the family of wizards.
Sorry @Heisenberg, the Brits have let you down again.
Just because itâs on that list, doesnât make it a Christmas song, anymore than Die Hard being on a list of Christmas movies makes it one.
Nice try, but no, Die Hard IS a christmas movie, and you can direct your complaints to Santa Claus. Because he has a Machine Gun now.
Ho. Ho. HoâŚ
Nopers.
Hereâs one for ya. âEyes Wide Shutâ was around Christmas time, but it absolutely is NOT a Christmas movie.
If Die Hard isnât a Christmas movie, then Home Alone isnât one either. If we go by the logic that Christmas has to play an integral part from A to B. Then Kevin could have been left alone any time of the year and deal with burglars. Vacations, burglars, being left behind doesnât scream Christmas.
That said other then taking place during Christmas, both films. Deals with some very specific Christmas characteristics, family, love, trying to home. There is more to Christmas movie then just some hyper specific check list.
Home Alone, arguable; could go either way depending on how you frame it. Home Alone 2, definitely a Christmas movie. Kevinâs whole deal in that movie wasnât about learning to love his family, but was that Christmas wasnât about having specific decorations. The entire lesson to be learned in that movie specifically relates to Christmas, while the first movie was a more general lesson with a Christmas wrapping, no pun.
I think we found our next Agent 47 movie actor
