Been putting off taking my Patient Zero Bonus Mission Stories-ish collection because PZ is a bit of a pain in the arse to set up for decent screenshots, but with Freelancer nearly upon us and the Safehouse to unlock, explore and photograph, it’s time to finally wrap up my Mission Stories-ish series before the next phase of the WoA begins.

As I have a certain intrest in Character Models, I took some Shots of the New Suspect Models.

Spoiler Warning for Freelancer Suspect Models

That’s head_hispanic_30s_01 with a Texture Override. The Suspects may be random, so he certainly fits Berlin.

Head_Caucasian_20s_01, also fits the scene quite well funnily enough. She also was the Leader so she ended up drowned.

I must admit that I really don’t recognize this Face. Really neat looking Model in General.

Head_Caucasian_20s_01 or Jimmy. The Fourth Model in a Row that fits the Scene, shame there were two Women running around in Formal Dress and Suit aswell.

Head_Indian_20s_01 or Merle, fantasic Model, though also my first Campaign Fail thanks to her Watchdog of some Old Man. Still shot her in the Head, but died right after that and she wasn’t even the Leader.

Another Face I don’t regocnize and really cool looking too.

Head_Caucasian_20s_02 or Billy with a Texture Override, doesn’t quite fit Mendoza, but oh well.

Okay, IO, wheres the Bug in my Room? I was trying to implement this Hair from Berlin in Mendoza Reimagined, but couldn’t get it to work and now she appears.

Are the character models randomly generated now? I’ve never seen the same one twice since they were premade last September.

In Freelancer the Suspects are partly randomly generated as long as something from the description fits, so everytime so far I also had tatleast wo Suspects were everything physical lined up.

Outside of Freelancer all Character Models, even Crowd NPCs are set.

I remember reading somewhere that there are 72 suspects that can appear, but for any specific showdown it’s randomised, stratified by those who fit some traits of the leader

I learned it the hard way but you shouldn’t play Freelancer when you’re unconcentrated or in a rush. Dying 3 times in row hadn’t happened to me in my whole H3 Career lmao.

Hear, hear… I’ve been failing the very first showdown like 3 times in recent sessions just because I felt rushed to get onto the rest of the campaigns!
(Sometimes even failing the very first mission, because I get cornered in a massive gunfight gone wrong – then I gotta deal with two insta-fail alerted missions in a syndicate that shouldn’t have any!)
