I’ve been downloading some music today. I love Status Quo, and one song of there’s I like is a song called Obstruction Day. It was originally released as a B side to a single, but since then never appeared on an official album, and as such seems to be forgotten as it isn’t available to buy or stream online. Looking it up on one storefront, I found another song called Obstruction Day, by someone called Mikael Bojko.
Looking them up on Youtube to see if they have a famous song I’ve never heard of, I find their Youtube channel, which between 44 videos has just over 2,200 views. And what’s more interesting, one of the album covers reads: Mikael Bojko - Rock Legends. All comments are turned off and a basic Google search doesn’t turn up much else of note. It’s like I’ve peaked into some alternative universe where this guy became a big superstar. Just slightly weird. Here’s both versions of Obstruction Day.

One of my favourite covers of the best song from In Rainbows. Truly a beautiful cover. It gets better every time i hear it.

I’ve been getting back into playing the piano, would love to master this someday. Presently it’s a little above me.

I’d love to be able to perform something as good as this but I’m absolutely horrible at the piano! Good mind clearer though. You’ll smash it one day.
