it was as crazy as following up an post-rock flavoured album like ok computer with predominantly warp/eno-esque ambient record like kid a. 
i get they’re not everyone’s cuppa, but i’ve always got time for them. through listening to them i was introduced to a ton of amazing stuff: joy division, dj shadow, the sonorists, can, penderecki, miles davis, mingus, etc.
