If that mission ever comes back, they should rename it and make both Garys targets to justify having to renew the deal with Gary Cole.

I don’t care about that. Take Busey out of the mission altogether and replace him some generic character model for all I care. Just rerelease the content.
Also, the whole point is to assassinate the target so why would anyone care if the target isn’t some pure soul?

Just like with McGregor, it’s a business deal, meaning IOI has to pay money for it, and it looks bad being in business with someone who is confirmed to have committed real-world crimes.
If I ignore the fact that some of the celebrities are stupid morons then most of the ETs are fine in my opinion. Slim Shady is my favorite one and the music and visuals in the drop are amazing.
Because each ET is one big advertisement showing support for that celebrity.
I wouldn’t even bother to advertise it…just add it back into the rotation or add it to the Arcade. Again, I don’t give a rat’s arse about Busey or Cole - just make the mission playable. Again, I don’t even consider the Wild Card to be a “celebrity elusive target”. It’s a gimmick more than anything. Whatever advertising that IOI would do for the mission was done back in 2016. It’s over and done with. I just want the mission back.

That’s not the point.
They didn’t just add McGregor and Van Damme to the game, they endorsed and glorified them.
Then don’t endorse or glorify anyone. That’s my point. Just release the content and leave it at that. No commercials, no YouTube videos, no posts, no tweets, no drops, none of it. Just the mission added back into the game. That’s all they have to do.

No acknowledgment makes it even worse.
They need to own up to their mistakes either by removing the mission entirely or by changing their voice actors. The second option is obviously much better.
If you release something morally bad then adding it back to the game with no trailer is in no way better.
Well, I initially did suggest replacing both Garys with different generic characters. That would work perfectly well in my opinion.

Ok. I’ll just say “sounds good” and leave it at that. Hopefully someone at IOI can do something to make some part of the mission available - no matter which Gary(s) are involved.
