What Twitch drop would you like to see?

I’d like to see some Twitch drops that are:

  1. A consumable inventory item or weapon that does something interesting.
  2. Usable in Freelancer.

You went to the effort of implementing the magical scrolling weapon wall to deal with scaling it for DLC - throw some Twitch drops in there damnit all! :slight_smile:

I suppose I should proffer some examples of what I think counts as interesting:

  • A Select-fire gun. (For verbosity: This means it can be switched between auto/semi-auto)
  • A lethal/emetic/sedative duck. (Lethal would be cool, but should only be in Freelancer for balancing reasons if implemented)
  • An Incendiary device - thrown/proximity/remote. (Again, for balancing, it either shouldn’t grant an accident or if it does, be Freelancer exclusive)
  • A Sniper rifle that doubles as a suspect camera. (Might be asking a bit too much engine work for this to be implemented)
  • A tactical briefcase nuke

I’ve always thought it’d be neat if they made the tracker gun a real item.

There’s something in the game which appears to just be a Sieker, but anyone you hit with a dart - it marks them on the mini-map/map. So if you have a target that has a guard tail on them, if you do something to temporarily send them away you can easily see exactly where they are to judge how long you have to kill/hide the body etc.

Probably wouldn’t happen though, since people would just use it to effectively have ETs show up on the maps.

That’s a pretty neat (albeit niche) tool. It would definitely be fun in Freelancer and ETs wouldn’t really be upset by it since finding the ET is a prerequisite for making use of the feature.

I would absolutely love the Charlie the Chipmunk outfit from Absolution, you only get to aquire it in a couple of missions in that game but it would be nice to equip it anytime, swap out the red shirt for a purple shirt with a twitch logo in place of the pepper, function wise it would act like the Flamingo suit
