It’s the same website as that deep sea scroll
The creator is one hell of a genius.
Ah I wish I know how to play chess, otherwise I will be stuck at rule 16 forever. Thanks for sharing, though. ![]()
I also wish I could at least make it to rule 34. ![]()
It’s okay to cheat and use stockfish, it doesn’t get any easier from that point on. ![]()
I think 35 is the last rule. ![]()
I am no Chess genius but I think the answer is Qb1+ (White’s Queen to B1) since I am pretty sure that puts the king in check. But I am no chess whiz so I could and most likely am wrong. also any site that makes me play chess to generate a password just isn’t worth it.
is that a valid move? I would guess Bg6+ followed by black fxg6 then white fxg6#
I mean like I said I am no chess genius.
i know i just had to upstage you
So… have anyone, like me, been into UFOs since all the fuzz started a few years ago when UFO videos were leaked from Pentagon? Now it’s literally a hot topic every once in a while and there are hearings in the US about it (mass media still a bit hesitant to cover it that much despite sensational claims from credible people)
Arg, a few years ago you would be a nutcase to believe in aliens and what not. But I’m seriously not so sure anymore. Something fishy is going on for sure, but it could “just” be secret technology as well, BUT that would be almost as incredible if you at least trust the witnesses and their description of the “UFO” behaviors.
Just a nerdy topic for me that last couple of years. Interesting times for sure.
While I have no doubt that “UFOs” exist and have been seen, I am also 100% confident that extra-terrestrials have nothing to do with it. Space is just too big to expect that any species has managed to traverse those types of distances.
Yes, space is too big. But imagine a civilization thousands of years older than us - what can they do? I think it would be naive that something major breakthrough wouldn’t have happened.
But it’s a rabbit hole for sure. I rarely talk about the topic with family or work colleagues because they truly just believe you are a nutter then. And that’s a bit sad, because if you go down the rabbit hole and only listen to the credible sources, then you will understand that there is “something” - whatever that something might be.
Watch this clip. That should peak a lot of peoples interest:
Completely agree.
I hear you, and I know how that line of thinking goes too. If you look at where we were just a hundred years ago and compare it where we are now, we see unbelievable leaps in technological achievement.
It’s easy to wonder where we’ll be in another 1000 years. It’s also easy to think that another species with a thousand year head start could easily have breached the gaps between stars.
Yet I still consider how big even just the galaxy is, never mind the universe. That’s what most people (Not you, necessarily, just “most people”) just cannot grasp. The distance to even our nearest neighboring star is vaster than we have any real way to conceptualize. We’re conditioned by Star Trek and Star Wars to believe that another star system is just a warp skip away but it would take years for anyone to cross those distances.
Then I ask myself why any alien species would ever come here? What would/could we possibly have to offer an alien race with the technological sophistication to make long distance space travel feasible? We would be nothing but a backward, monkey species to them.
Then consider how we treat every other species on our own planet. We’d greet aliens with rifles and nuclear weapons more likely than we would a handshake. The way our own species tends to treat others, the aliens, if there ever are any, would be better off either obliterating us before we’re even aware of them or staying far away.
Good points. And, just think about it logically: if UFOs as we think of them really are spacecraft from a star-faring extraterrestrial species, it stands to reason that a few things can be assumed. We can assume that they are similar to us in basics, since they needed to construct a protective container that can travel interstellar distances around themselves, so they are likely mortal beings that can be killed by the harshness of space and possibly our atmosphere.
We can also assume that if they have managed to get to this planet from across space, and are not native to our solar system and have just been hiding from us, then not only are they capable of either faster-than or near-light speed travel, but they must also possess weapons technology so equally advanced that conquest of our planet would be a simple matter for them.
Their inconsistent appearance on radar systems and tendency to only appear over major cities at night, and the fact that they haven’t conquered or wiped us out, would suggest that their presence here is for observation and they wish to avoid making contact with us or being seen at this time.
And yet somehow, despite all that, they can’t seem to figure out how to not put bright lights on the outside of their craft to let us know exactly where they are! Super-advanced beings with the ability to cross trillions of miles of space and avoid detection by our technology, but didn’t remember or just never thought of using illumination capabilities that wouldn’t be detected by outside observes, like fucking night vision cameras.
Which is why I’m convinced that all sightings of UFOs are unidentified naturally-occurring phenomena, or test flights of secret military technology that the public has not yet been made aware of.
If there are any aliens out there, I think they’re more like higher beings; gods, demons, eldritch abominations, things closer to what Stephen King or H. P. Lovecraft have dreamed up than Steven Spielberg. Beings closer to forces of nature than creatures, who are alien more on the fact that they’re not from earth and do not conform to our understanding of the laws of nature than due to evolving on some other chunk of wet debris circling an unremarkable star somewhere, like us.
Tooms is such a scary motherfucker, i love the two episodes with him. In general I like the Monster of the Week episodes more than the conspiracy episodes. Also love the occasional funny episodes a lot.
It’s that time of the year again and I enjoy a weekend at our local festival. Yesterday I’ve seen Von Wegen Lisbeth, Wanda, Meduza and Nathalie Froehlich (she was the best! If you don’t know her, you should really check her out).
Today I plan to listen to Rin, Tash Sultana, Kings Elliot, Peter Fox and Electric Callboy. Saturday I want to see The Lumineers, Kraftklub, Macklemore and Tchami. Not sure if I will be at the festival on sunday. Nothing really there that interests me. Here’s the full line-up.
Here are a few pics I took yesterday:
Nathalie Froehlich:
Meduza:
And a pic of happy me:
Looks like there are two big Hitman fans in that picture, you and the guy who hung up the speaker like that because it is an accident waiting to happen.
I find myself on here less and less these days but I’ve recently be replaying through the WOA trilogy and that led me back to say I’m getting married tomorrow and I can’t wait to be honest.
Right? This girl is doomed…

congratulations, my man.
