Enjoy, I’ve been meaning to get out and see it for the past couple of weeks. It’s scored by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, really looking forward to hearing their work with the film.
We went to the Dutch GP last weekend. Dad is still there b/c he is retired. I’m jealous b/c I am back at work

Redbull dominated all the rainy weekend with Max winning.
Lots of safety cars and many cars didn’t finish the race. F2, Porsche Supercup, and F1 all suffered from retirements due to the water.
We had plenty of time for sightseeing as well.

Even though I don’t have cable or whatever it’s called now I found this cool.
Adult Swim introduced the Checkered Past Weekday Time Block. This Time Block moves Adults Swims start time to 6PM EST and for two hours it focuses on Cartoon Network programming from the late 90’s and Early 2000’s.
I like this particular move cause Cartoon Network imo has became a shell of its former self compared to what it was when I was a kid. It might just be my rose tinted glasses, but the quality was consistent and the charm was varied.
I’ve made it no secret in the past that I have a sort of bias when it comes to Traditional Animation compared to digital. While this isn’t a direct hit piece on digital animation since there are a plethora of digital animators who have made very stunning works of art. I do enjoy the jank and corner cutting that comes from Traditional Animation cells and how they reused them.
All together though circling back around to this new time block for Adult Swim this makes me very happy that the past is being preserved and can still be enjoyed without the egregious amounts of streaming services out there. I’m particularly glad that if I ever wanna watch traditional television now I know I can watch some old cartoons from my youth if I’m ever feeling nostalgic or want a feel Good Friday night.
Isn’t this like 3 years old at this point?
Hehehe it is! But I looked it up again just 'cause (plus I’ve been playing Control again on PS5 with sweet, sweet 60fps).
And it’s still really great!
My two week vacation begins NOW…almost. Just a few hours to go. Don’t have any plans other than not going to work, but I do feel just a little bit bad about it. I’m leaving my boss and co-workers in a bit of a jam but it’s often like this when someone goes on vacation. There’s never really a good time and we all know it. I expect the place to probably be in a mess when I get back but so be it. I’m gone…almost.
Neat! I’m going on a little 1.2 week roadtrip with my fam tomorrow. Packing now, and ooh 9 days is tough to think of for packing, haven’t done this in a while!
It’s not too far of a drive from where you live.
But I’m already broke and you’re trying to make me even broker.
But seriously though, I kinda want to cool out for a bit. It’s nice not having anywhere to go for a while.
My one and a half week vacation starts on 14th September, when Mortal Kombat 1 gets released
I just have been hired by my factory! That means I am no longer an intern.
Here interns have contracts with agencies for some years before proving themselves worthy and then passing directly with the workplace which means having full benefits and a contract that lasts for ever.
In my factory they do like this: they hire you for 2 months, after those 2 months if you prove to be good willing to learn and you work good they renew your contract for other 4 months. At the end of those 4 months trial they will renew you again for other 5 months. After those 5 months they will keep you under agency contract for another 6 months and after that if they are happy and you are happy they will propose to you to be hired directly by them which of course is every intern desire.
That day was yesterday for me and I am so so happy because now I have all the insurances for a stable life.
Which means I am ready to start a family because I feel and am financially supported. My work place pays very well and if I do extra days which I do a lot of them it pays even better. Enough to support myself, my girlfriend and the kid for at least 3 years alone before she can start working again.
A Message From @Clemens_IOI :
This is a big loss for the Hitman community, you’ve done great for us and I hope that we will see you more in the community.
This would explain why his handle changed on Twitter… He will be missed. He and Travis were such an iconic duo. Still, I wish him luck on his future endeavors sans IOI!
Welp, my dad, our designated 10-hour endurance driver, came down with two kidney stones and induced nausea last night, so is now in the hospital for a bit while they get that out of him.
So, we’re in quebec for one more day than expected… hopefully, if he’s better tomorrow.
We’ve gone shopping for food and stuff today, and I think I’ve spoken more french today than I have the entire past year already. I’m rusty but its good to use!
I stopped listening to/watching this guy because he spoke with way too much uptalk. In the first few minutes of this video, it seems that he’s made efforts — conscious or not — to rein that in.
It’s one of the first video reviews that showed up for me, so I went with his review. Did watch a few more and most agree that Starfield has the best writing in any modern Beth game, the exploration being a bit lackluster since it involves going through many menus and also it’s Beth’s less buggy game. The 7s and 8s are good for a new IP.
Read the domestic review an hour ago and the feelings were pretty much the same: on the one hand great visuals and visual design plus atmosphere, probably the best writing in a Bethesda game with some really good quests, little to no bugs, and fun customization mechanics; on the other lackluster exploration with repetitive procedural planet generation (surprise surprise) and associated tedious/clumsy menu navigation, loading screens between exteriors and interiors, bad gunplay and starship battles, upscaling turning enemies into massive bulletsponges, and also some controls (particularly spaceship) clearly designed for gamepads and thus clunky on m+kb. Essentially a fun and beautiful-looking game hampered by some ancient Bethesda design choices. Got a 7/10.
Anyways, there’s a dedicated Starfield thread, so we should move any further discussion there.
